- Idols have been assigned relationship dynamics determined by their fans.

[With a twang, those who are participating in the game will find that their strings have been scrambled. It may not be all of them, but most of the familiar ones suddenly have new colors, and there may even be entirely new strings to complete strangers--not every ship makes sense! Time to work out these new relationships and show people what that's all about to have a shot at fixing it.]

DISCLAIMER!!
I will not actually be forcing anyone to keep their fan-decided/randomized CR at the end of the game, those are just the IC stakes (and something you CAN keep if it turns out to be fun)! If by the end you would like to return to normal, you either have the option of getting characters on winning units to use their temporary ability to help reset the relationships of losing characters OR having the normal relationship among the fan-nominated ones and getting lucky enough to be on that CR string by the end of the game.

Instructions
Pick some new colors for your CR strings from the LIST OF STRING COLORS. Bonus for adhering to the spirit of the descriptions.

How the new CR string takes effect is up to the players! For example, it can come on slowly while they're aware of it when it ramps or be immediate and they don't really notice the change. However, whenever they have a strong reinforcing feeling about the relationship, the string will twang and resonate and make the CR more durable against change ICly! This protects it against additional swapping, but also means there's some emotional weirdness if a switch is still made. Conversely, subverting it may make it more prone to change.

OOCly string colors can switch between the same characters multiple times at your discretion. You are the fans! Feel free to discuss/decide string colors yourself or randomize the color to see what comes up. Be sure to run it by the person you're playing with if you anticipate a large amount of fallout, the goal is to have fun!

Two characters will have a HIGH CHANCE of being stuck together by their string at first but it will loosen once they engage with the relationship.

There will be a turn-in post for linking threads and posts where characters are either demonstrating or subverting their relationship labels! Deadline will be 6pm PST on the 20th. Winners will be decided by myself pretty subjectively, but hopefully both winning and losing will provide something interesting to play with!
