[As everyone is finally starting to get their bearings with the strings and what they mean, and maybe learning a little about what they do, the kiosk and their phones will sound with a new alert.]

[With a twang, those who are participating in the game will find that their strings have been scrambled. It may not be all of them, but most of the familiar ones suddenly have new colors, and there may even be entirely new strings to complete strangers--not every ship makes sense! Time to work out these new relationships and show people what that's all about to have a shot at fixing it.]

[Can do! He places another chocolate in her mouth, with his fingers lingering longer than necessary.]

[ Nipping at his fingers before they withdraw ]

Is this secluded enough to ask for a kiss? That would be worth sitting up for.

If you're willing to go so far as sitting up, I think I could indulge you.

[ Up she sits! But she's not relinquishing his lap easily, settling down like he was about to princess carry her, arms slipping around him. ]

Go on, then. Indulge me.

[Safely away from the eyes of others, he's more than happy to give her a long, deep kiss, arms settling around her waist to hold her close.]

[ The soft sound she makes when he gives her a real kiss instead of a peck is a whorl of delight and surprise and a strange relief, like her lungs weren't working and now she's finally getting a deep breath. Not to be outdone, she makes the absolute most of the moment, kissing him slowly and thoroughly and with a sweetness that hints at something stronger. Aiming to get his head so full of her that he couldn't name another idol if he tried. ]

[She has a good start on that already just by being in his presence.

Doctor melts into her, matching her intensity measure for measure. Soft sighs escape his lips, only partially muffled by her kiss.]

[ What a very pleasant surprise! She cares about him too much to push like she would with most other people, but she's very content to enjoy this while it lasts. (Maybe they will end up in the hotel after all -- not that she needs much convincing to want him in bed, especially when they can't keep their hands off each other lately, love is a potent drug.) ]

[ She hums an approving against his mouth, slightly short of breath for how she's determined not to get too deep into anything, one of her hands stroking through his hair. ]

[He does, eventually, pull back. His face is flushed and his eyes are heavily lidded.]

Was that to your satisfaction?

Mmm, now I'm curious what you'll do if I say no.

[ Her expression is decidedly not saying no, but there is a coyness to it. ]

[He knows, and he adores that expression on her face.]

I suppose I'd have to kiss you again until I get it right.

When you put it that way, I absolutely want you to try your best. Give that another shot.

[In that case, she gets an even deeper, more thorough kiss this time. Mwa.]

[ This time she doesn't entirely let him lead, that coral piece of her string makes her throw herself into the kiss, holding nothing back. Which isn't to say she's unaffected by what he's doing, he can probably tell my the way she clutches him closer and the low rumble in her throat. ]

[He's the first to break the kiss, stopping to catch his breath. His face is flushed.]

Ah, my dear, you'll ruin me.

[ She doesn't let him get far, much preferring to nuzzle into his neck than wait patiently for him to get his breath back. ]

In a good way, I certainly hope.

Oh, only in the best of ways.

[Petting her hair.]

I have quite a lot of 'best ways' in mind when we finally get somewhere private.

Oh? What do I have to look forward to, I wonder?
