[As everyone is finally starting to get their bearings with the strings and what they mean, and maybe learning a little about what they do, the kiosk and their phones will sound with a new alert.]

[With a twang, those who are participating in the game will find that their strings have been scrambled. It may not be all of them, but most of the familiar ones suddenly have new colors, and there may even be entirely new strings to complete strangers--not every ship makes sense! Time to work out these new relationships and show people what that's all about to have a shot at fixing it.]

How about telling the strings to behave themselves?

And, me, no? It's worth it for you. [ he moves a hand to the back of her head, trying to draw her closer to his neck. ] So go ahead, and drink... I think you'll find I enjoy it as much as you do, whether or not I truly benefit.

[ She reaches out to flick hard at a few of the strings, whatever happens to be nearby. Her fingers come away with a bit of blood ] Bad strings, behave yourselves or I'll come for you. And I don't mess around when I'm upset.

[ Then, her focus turns to him, his neck and his masked face. ] Enjoy it, will you? That's always fun. [ Her blood tinged fingers trail gently along the line of his jaw, leaving a trail of pink. ] I'd advise you to be careful since I'm not always so controlled when I drink, but I have a feeling you might not mind.

[ With that, she leans forward to sink her fangs into his neck, near the pulse of his carotid artery. ]

[ as soon as she strikes the chords and colors her fingers red dottore catches her wrist. ] I hope you don't mind if I indulge a little too... [ not because he needs to, mind you, but because he's just like that. he swipes his tongue over the tips of her fingers to clean them, giving her a sharp grin afterward. ]

[ and then he's tilting his head to give her more access to his neck. ] You're right. I wouldn't mind. It's half the fun, honestly... seeing how far you'll go and how much I can take.

[ his eyes close and he groans, he can't help it, he enjoys pain. he threads his fingers through her hair, egging her on silently. ]

[ Normally she'd reflexively stop him from tasting her blood given what it can do where she's from, but given the color of her strings and how willingly he bares his neck she can't bring herself to care. He's welcome to whatever he likes. ]

[ She makes a low sound when he groans, something close to a growl, predatory. Like pain, do you? She knows how to treat this type -- she withdraws her fangs and bites down again, harder, right beside the punctures she already made. A second bite tends to make things more sensitive. ]

[ his hand drops to her neck, which he massages as she sinks her fangs in a second time. ] Mm. [ a low hum. ] How does it taste, my dear? [ his wings fluff up and he cracks an eye open, peering down at her as best he can. his hand drops again, this time moving to her back, which he strokes. ] Getting enough?

[ She chuckles and pulls her fangs away from his neck. ]

Wanting to know how you taste is such an ego thing. [ But she grins, licking the blood from her lips. ] It's wonderful.

And mine? [ Her blood is very potent, which doesn't mean much here except that the taste is rich and strong, like an extremely good wine compared to the watered-down vinegar of most blood. ]

Hahahehe. I'm afraid you've caught me, I really do enjoy having my ego stroked. [ so indulge him! ] ... [ her response earns a smile. ]

Like nectar. [ he purrs. ]

In that case, you also make that mask look good. [ She flicks at it gently and makes it ting, then slides her arms around his shoulders, one hand toying with the fringe of his hair. ]

I don't usually let anyone taste my blood, you know. So I'm glad you like it.

I'll savor the taste of you for years to come. [ he reaches for her chin, tipping her head back, so he can indulge in a quick kiss. ]

[ The sight of his eyes makes her gasp, and her own eyes glow brightly in response. Those eyes are the color of her side of the ancestral line, that of her and her servants. She can't help but have a reaction, and her string instantly takes on a thick blood colored strand. ]

[ Because of that she doesn't react beyond a little smile when he tilts her chin back, but she definitely leans into that little kiss. Instinct and all. ]

[ dottore notes the reaction, but doesn't have much time to think about it, because he'd much rather focus on the kiss and indulge in that instead. as such, it lasts a bit longer than he originally intended. ] As expected... unbelievably sweet.

[ She looks a bit flushed for how simple that kiss was. Congratulations, you've found her weakness. ]

Sweet? Mm, maybe sometimes. [ She seems unduly amused. ] Most people find me rather sharp, in every sense of the word.

Hahahehe. [ a chuckle. ] I think that's a beautiful juxtiposition, if I'm being honest. A rose is both sweet and sharp too, is it not, and yet it's considered one of the most gorgeous flowers around.

I don't have the appreciation for roses you do. Maybe because I'm too competitive for my own good.

I don't particularly care for the flower, myself, but I can appreciate it. I just thought you should know that there are other things that are both pretty and sharp, like you, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I don't mind the comparison as long as it's to something you appreciate. [ She has no intention of unwrapping herself from around him anytime soon, seems like ]

Should I continue to stroke your ego, or is there something else I can do for you?

I don't mind if you continue to stroke my ego, but come with me to the park. I would like to give you something. [ time to see if he can't find a rose there, because he's got an idea. ] But if you have something else in mind I'm all ears.

I'll go anywhere you like. I can stroke and walk at the same time.

Can I, now. [ She starts with his wing, slowly petting so the feathers slide between her fingers. Her other arm remains clutching his. And she smiles at that little kiss. ]

If you tell me what gift you want, chances are good that I'll give it to you. Starting with whatever you want me stroking. If my pretty head has to think of something all on my own, I might need a minute. You're a bit of a challenge.
