[As everyone is finally starting to get their bearings with the strings and what they mean, and maybe learning a little about what they do, the kiosk and their phones will sound with a new alert.]

[With a twang, those who are participating in the game will find that their strings have been scrambled. It may not be all of them, but most of the familiar ones suddenly have new colors, and there may even be entirely new strings to complete strangers--not every ship makes sense! Time to work out these new relationships and show people what that's all about to have a shot at fixing it.]

[ and... there go all of his papers. blinks, staring at them for half a second before he steps over to take a knee, so he can start gathering them all up. ] I admire the fact that you're trying. Really, I do, but I do think your time would be better spent... elsewhere. [ stands up and offers the scrolls back, purposely leaning in. ] Don't you think?

Ahem. Clears his throat as he takes the papers from Childe trying and failing to ignore that he's down one knee in front of him. ]

Did you have something in mind?

It's alright, Zhongli Xiansheng. You can mean it. In fact, I hope you *do* mean it, because it is absolutely what I had implied.

But, no, I thought I would leave that to you, the expert.

Expert...? I would not call myself such in matters of the---

[ Clears his throat ]

Yes. Expert. Indeed.

[ Offers a hand for Childe to take. ]

Would you do me the honors then?

[childeishly]

[ childe steps closer and gives his hand to zhongli, his tails all fanning out behind them. ] Of course, Xiansheng. I couldn't dream of saying no to you.

[ Zhongli squeezes Childe's hand, trying furiously to force away the blush burning his cheeks at the touch. In a glitter or bronze, his exuvia appears coiling around the both of them and at just the right height for Childe to climb aboard. ]

It is unfair sometimes how charming you are.

[childeishly]

[ childe climbs aboard and turns back to help tug up zhongli. ] And it's unfair how handsome you are, but that's not really a complaint... I enjoy getting lost in your molten gold eyes. [ going to give him a quick kiss once they're both situated on the exuvia. ]

[ Oh.

Oh, his crush and object of his obsession just kissed him. Please hold while Zhongli takes a few moments to process this. ]

Zhong~li~ [ reaches out to poke his cheek. ]

Yes? Expert. Better time spent elsewhere.

[ He fidgets for a moment before pressing a kiss to Childe's cheek and then grabbing his wrist and tugging him away before he can respond. ]

mmHm. [ purrs, stumbling along as zhongli drags him. ] In your arms, perhaps, ..?

Oh.

[ A slow steady blink ]

Would you like to be carried?

...oh my. Now that's one heck of a jump. I meant arm in arm, but if you're offering to carry me, then who am I to say no?
