[ As soon as they're back in the game tower, Aliza grabs her katana and starts storming around the room, eyes glowing the color of clotted blood, practically snarling. How dare he do this to her? Messing with her yet again? She'll find him and have a little fun of her own. ]

[ If you're in her way, it's possibly she may shove you. Entirely your fault for getting in her way when she's after someone. ]

Aliza? Where're you going with that?

[ Glancing over like she's dealing with an irritating fly. Lumine did what she wanted in there so she's off the shit list for the moment, but that doesn't make her immune to Aliza's wrath eternally. ]

I'm going to find Lupine and kill him. Who does he think he is?

[glidinglight]

[ Yeah no that's not normal. Especially not since she was just sad before; this is a complete 180 into violence. ]

You don't think you might regret doing that? A lot?

[ She gives Lumine an absolutely sickening smile ]

What I regret is being so soft and stupid. What was I thinking? [ Scoff ] Why should I protect anyone if they're not going to protect me?

[ Just what did that poison do to you, Aliza? ]

You couldn't know if he was going to protect us. Maybe he had other people he needed to protect too, or he thought we'd be okay with getting poisoned if it ended the game sooner. We should at least hear what he has to say before going after him.

[sangreine]

[ And now a scowl ]

Why should I? [ She's practically hissing ] This is the second game in the last three that he's screwed me over, after I told him what's going on with me and after I all but threatened you and Reed over it. Why should I play fair if he's not?

You didn't threaten us, really, you just told us you were at your limit which is fair.

[ Honestly she's having a hard time thinking of a good enough excuse to give Aliza when she's like this. So she's just going to throw every possible thing out there she can think of to dissuade her and hope something sticks. ]

I just think maybe if we give it a little time before you talk with Lupine, that might be better, because maybe there's a better way of getting through to him. If there's a big fight and people get hurt, it won't be good for either of our teams. Plus, we need to make sure the poison isn't making you sick, and if you're sick and you try to fight that could end badly for you.

[ If she shoves him then he looks genuinely shocked and affronted, wow! ]

[ Hm? Oh, it's you. He sent them antidote, at least there's that. ]

[ HE CAN ALREADY TELL THIS IS BAD FROM THAT RESPONSE ALONE ]

He sent us poison. The recorder specifically said he hoped we didn't have enough antidote, and we didn't because I insisted we give it away. [ She's so mad she's practically spitting. ] I refused to send any poison to someone I care about, and for what? Stupid, silly me for thinking I'd get the same courtesy.

[ Suddenly, her anger melts into a vicious grin ]

Speaking of which, you sent us antidote. But it wasn't really for me, was it?

He looks surprised by this news for a moment, but -- if Lupine did it, he had a reason. Probably an extremely practical, calculated one.

. . . Which, even if it were fine under normal circumstances, it clearly isn't now.

(wtf does he do to keep Lupine alive under these circumstances?) ]

What are you talking about? We sent Zrael an antidote because we anticipated someone would send you poison. Clearly we were correct.

[ ...so, he would've apologized pretty much first thing, but he's not gonna get much of a chance to say anything at all, is he?

[ Reflexive bark armor is reflexive, though it doesn't do shit against being kicked. Stumbles forward, turns to brace himself. ]

Do you know how I spent my time in there? Arguing with my unit, practically threatening them because I didn't want to poison someone I care about.

And look where it got me. [ She takes a few slow, threatening steps, encroaching on him. ] Do you know how stupid I felt when it was your voice on that tape saying that you hoped we didn't have enough antidote? We didn't, by the way.
