[ Just... tired. And being useful would help that part, he thinks. ] [ A light hop backwards to land on the leaf behind him, then gliding to stand between the two of you. ]

I'm always happy to volunteer for being carried.

It works like this.

[ And he does hold onto her, both because he assumes he needs to and because this next bit is bracing, before the wind speeds up.

It's obviously not pep fast, but twice as fast as Lupine can run is nothing to sneeze at, and definitely cuts the trip to the hotel in half. Nyoom! ]

[ Venti just laughs and hangs on tight, tilting his face into the wind.

He can at least indulge in this much, even under the circumstances. ]

[ And so they all got to have a nice moment, a pleasant little distraction, before things go more wrong! ] [ But Lupine's grin brightens a tiny bit more at their reactions.

And a minute or two later, there's the hotel. He brings them down for a landing in front of the entrance, still smiling if more faintly. Caeli's gonna be inside already... Setting both Venti and Lumine down: ]

Honestly, still my favorite way of getting around this place.

[ Landing lightly on his feet. ]

I won't be opposed if you took me on more rides.

[ It's not as though she doesn't see them flirting or register it as such, but it doesn't appear to bother her.

She is however stepping through the door and heading over to the statue and casting Levitate on it. ]

I wonder if it'll fit inside the elevator.
