[ -- Aliza resting on her side, now in the middle of a forest instead of a tiny cottage. She is indeed unconscious, though her eyes never made it fully closed, a sliver of red peeking out from the middle of bruised and blackened eyes. Her hands, resting up by her face, are scratched raw up to the elbows from where she tried to claw her way out in a panic. Lupine indirectly got the revenge he never asked for, because her shoulders don't look quite right and her breathing is clogged sounding. And her hair is matted with blood. ]

[ She beat herself absolutely senseless trying to get out of there, so much that she doesn't move. She doesn't even twitch. ]

[ Do you approach the deadliest Sleeping Beauty ever? y/n ]

[ this is not what childe had been expecting given all of the prep work. he had expected her to be ready ( and waiting ) to railroad the first person she caught sight of... but perhaps it's for the best that she tuckered herself out. ]

[ his ears and tails droop as he takes another couple of steps and kneels, setting a hand on her shoulder without an ounce of hesitation. ] Not sure what the hell happened, but everybody here has your best interests in mind, ... [ whether or not she can hear him, who knows, but with that he'll turn her into a cute little lamb. ]

[ ...It both is and isn't what he'd been expecting. He knew she'd be hurt, he knew she would have broken bones against the walls — but it's so much worse to see in person, knocks the wind out of him.

The illusion doesn't flicker, but. Only because he's used to holding them through distractions. Not because he didn't flinch to see her like that. ]

[ Lumine definitely hadn't been expecting for Aliza to be so hurt. Or hurt much at all, really; the way Lupine had made things sound, she'd thought he'd be tanking most of the damage. This looks like someone--maybe multiple someones--just whaled on her. ]

You said she was just contained....

[ And she doesn't think that they would just lie to her. So does that mean... ]

Did she managed to do this to herself somehow?

[ Lumine's question should be answered momentarily -- once Venti heals enough to snap her out of her stupor, Aliza -- now as a cute, if bloody, little lamb, opens her eyes... ]

[ And starts screaming. Normally a sheep trying to scream might be a little funny, especially if it was in an impotent rage, but this isn't anger. She's terrified. ]

[ She thrashes a bit too, as well as she can given the state of her, but it's not directed at anyone. Just aimless kicking and squirming, as she tries to escape the confinement that no longer holds her. ]

[ If those tree roots aren't enough to help keep Aliza in place--Lumine's darting in in spite of the still flailing hooves and placing one hand on the lamb's neck and the other on the ground, a chain forming in the space between to hold her in place. ]

[ Between the illusion of roots holding her limbs and the actual chain around her neck, Aliza can't move -- but, truly confined once again, she redoubles her frightened sheep shrieking, head thrashing as much as she can in her current position. ]

That's a good start, I think.

[ she sighs. ZRAEL's power set is really good at some things, but other things--not so much. Mind Crush probably isn't going to do much to calm her down. So then... the best thing to try to do would be to probably try approaching her?

In a calm, soft voice, ]

[ She reaches down to stroke the still-shrieking lamb's fur. ]

[ The sea is a good start, and with Lupine knowing her has he does she can probably see the water from where she's lying. It takes a second to register being that she's still fairly concussed since the bludgeoned her healer, but once her eyes slowly focus on the waves she slowly, finally calms. ]

[ Lumine's voice is distorted and far away, but the soothing tone itself helps, and the gentle touch helps more. Soon she's just bleating softly and breathing her uncomfortable, clogged sounding breaths. ]
