[ Yeah, he had his mouth open to volunteer, but he closed it again. The difference between what you feel like you owe someone and what would actually be remotely helpful under the circumstances.

He'll just hang back a little, keeping the seashore illusion going (for Zari) until they get to the hotel. ]

[ She's just laying there, not doing much but occasionally bleating softly. And she won't do much when picked up by Caeli, he hasn't done anything to her and she knows he doesn't judge her aggressive side, which ironically helps to keep it at bay. ]

[ childe approaches and stoops down, taking a moment to shrug off his jacket, so that he can drape it over her and temporarily block out as much of everything else as possible. no more sensory overload. you've been through enough, alizarin. but all of this is apparently the beginning sobs. he scoops her up, setting a hand to her head and stroking her gently, giving a soft smile as she nuzzles him. ]

It works like this.

It's obviously not pep fast, but twice as fast as Lupine can run is nothing to sneeze at, and definitely cuts the trip to the hotel in half. Nyoom! ]
