Who: Maids, Staff, and Customers!
Where: a building near the hotel, aka Maid to Self-Care Healing Café
When: Day 439
[ If you pass by one of the abandoned buildings near the hotel, you'll be able to see a big sign outside—♥ Maid to Self-Care Healing Cafe ♥—or maybe you'll catch the announcement being Live broadcasted. Your usual favorite maids (sensitIV!), accompanied by some smartly-dressed members of BARiTONES, waving to you from around a smaller sign that says:
"Proceeds toward medical care and ambulance upgrades! Come visit us!"
[ Inside, the first floor of the abandoned building has been transformed: one half has been draped with sensitIV pink cloth, decorated with cute squishmallow pillows and cute ribbons; the other half is draped with black cloth, with similar squishmallows and ribbons. Both sides are divided by hospital-like partitions. Closer to the door are a few tables that have definitely not been stolen from the dining room (please do not look to verify!) and chairs that have definitely not been stolen from the lobby (please believe us!) to set up like a café, with an even distribution of tables and chairs between the pink and black. Speakers play gentle jazz piano in the background.
Farther back are what seem to be lounging areas—in the pink corner there's a massive pillow fort, and in the black corner there are a few opaque tents, also divided by hospital-like partitions, and are surely meant for sleeping and not anything else, absolutely.
A door on the pink side leads to a hallway, at the end of which is a room with a television and portable karaoke set. Across from that room is the makeshift kitchen-slash-break room, where there are a few chairs and coolers for the foodstuffs, as well as a side entrance for the employees.
A door on the black side leads to another hallway, which has smaller cubicle-like rooms with blankets and pillows, where drunks can go take naps if they need, or where the sinful can get more privacy.
Every maid has either a red ribbon and bow wrapped around their waist and/or a black one—from how the
menu looks and from how the floor is divided, it's clear that red-ribboned maids are doing "hearts" activities and black-ribboned maids are doing "spades" activities (and maids with both ribbons are doing both). Each maid is also equipped with a
cute bag that contains... cards and poker chips?
Notably, right next to the door is a printed paper following payment options: you can pay 200 points to choose your maid, or 100 to get a randomized one by poker chip. Likewise, special activities are 50 points each… or 25, to get a random one from your chosen menu (or a 20% discount if you get five!). There's a QR code with each payment option; scanning it automatically takes out the appropriate amount of points, depending on what you pay for, and each maid has access to a list of paid guests that updates upon payment. ]
[ ooc note: this is a lowkey live despite the production; please feel free to tag in late if you're dead in the face cuz we, too, are always dead in the face. ]
