Who: A & You
Where: A Jazz Club
When: Day 275
[ If you're CR of A's, you might have received a fancy card at your unit door: bordered with red and what looks like real gold, the card has an address on one side, and a fancy You're Invited: A Pleasant Graduation on the other.
Follow the address marked on the map and you'll find yourself entering an underground bar with a heavy barred door—one heavy enough to silence the smooth jazz playing throughout the club. The light is dim, colored white, seemingly creating a black-and-white sort of atmosphere as though this were a scene in a silent film. Each table in the dining area has a crystal arrangement, lighting up like lamps to illuminate the wood. Here, food is plated elegantly, each plate itself engraved with red and gold in exchange for being small in size. The portions are small, too, bite-sized; even if the pasta or the lobster is delectable, it would be difficult to make a meal out of without eating quite a number of plates—though at the same time there seems to be plenty of food available.
The bar counter, inlaid with a long mirror, reflects the rest of the light, and so do each and every crystal glass. Alcohol is available to drink here, although not unlimited by any means.
Past the dining area is the dance floor, and beyond that is a stage: the stage itself is the only place where the light is not white, but a gold, showing off the red curtains and the red carpet. There's a microphone and stand for A to give a speech if he'd like, and a golden door at the end of the red carpet for when he's ready to leave. ]
