[Today when you enter the game tower, you find yourself on what appears to be a large stage. The curtain lifts, showing you a packed house -- not with a real audience, though. The seats are full of mannequins wearing dramatic 18th century-style clothing.

Your hologram announcer today is a completely new Host, too! A tall and slender man with long dark hair, dressed equally dramatically to the mannequins including a cape and a masquerade mask, gestures broadly at all of you with sweeping theatrics.]

Welcome, our beloved idols and precious audience, to our latest foray into the twisted hearts of men! I, Grimoire of the Dark Sun Anemone, come to open a window to the chill of cruelty, the passion of loyalty, and the bloody battle between the two! Please witness with your whole black souls the beauty of love and despair!

And also, party games!

Faced with a choice between those they adore and those they abhor, our idols must now choose who to "wed", who to "bed", and who to "behead"!

IC RULES

All characters know these rules inherently upon entering their unit rooms. The rules (minus the examples) are also written down and displayed on the walls of the rooms.

♦ Your unit has been partnered with three other units for the duration of this game.

♦ You must choose which of your partner units you will wed, bed, and behead, by submitting the appropriate card to the appropriate slot. In that order, each choice will result in a more severe punishment. The unit you wed will receive 1 point and the lightest punishment. The unit you bed will receive 2 points and the middling punishment. The unit you behead will receive 3 points and the heaviest punishment. You cannot give the same punishment to more than one unit. You cannot give multiple punishments to one unit.

Example: group A consists of LiliS, sensitIV, ☆ZRAEL, & BARiTONES.
♢ LiliS chooses to wed ☆ZRAEL, bed BARiTONES, & behead sensitIV.
♢ sensitIV chooses to wed ☆ZRAEL, bed LiliS, & behead BARiTONES
♢ ☆ZRAEL chooses to wed BARiTONES, bed sensitIV, & behead LiliS
♢ BARiTONES chooses to wed LiliS, bed ☆ZRAEL, & behead sensitIV

♦ In addition to the above votes, your unit may optionally place a single Instead vote. The unit you "Instead" will swap their lowest card with your highest one, or vice versa. You have to submit this at the same time as your other votes, so you will not know exactly which cards you're swapping.

Example:
♢ sensitIV chooses to use Instead (best) on LiliS, giving LiliS their best card (bed), & taking the worst card from them (behead).
♢ ☆ZRAEL chooses to use Instead (worst) on BARiTONES, giving BiT their worst card (bed), & taking the best card from them (wed).

♦ After all votes have been tallied, including any instead swaps, punishments will be doled out. Each unit will receive 3 punishments, one for every vote cast.

Example:
♢ According to the previous examples, LiliS ultimately receives the cards wed, bed, bed. They will experience 1 light and 2 medium punishments.

♦ While you can cast your votes however you like, you must vote, no exceptions. units who refuse to vote will have their votes randomized for them, and will be stricken with the inability to say anything vulgar or insulting to or about anyone for a full day! The harder you try, the more you are compelled to say something nice and complimenting. This includes speaking about the hosts.

♦ The two units with the lowest point tally from each group will win, and will receive heals. The single unit with the highest point tally will be executed!

Example: According to the previous examples,
♢ LiliS ends the game with 4 points. They win!
♢ sensitIV ends the game with 9 points. They lose and also die.
♢ ☆ZRAEL ends the game with 3 points. They win!
♢ BARiTONES ends the game with 7 points. They lose but survive.

♦ Any unit which receives 3 "wed" cards is given the right to heal a losing unit, regardless of if that unit was in their group or not. Any unit which receives 3 "behead" cards gets a permanent corruption. Permanent corruptions are not healed even if the losing unit is given a heal.

Example: According to the previous examples,
♢ ☆ZRAEL ended up with 3 "wed" cards. They choose to heal avante, who lost in another group.
♢ sensitIV ended up with 3 "behead" cards. They all get corruptions.

OOC Rules

Characters are not privy to this information, but you as players should consider it!

♦ This is a one-round game, and you are welcome to leave early and come in late provided there is always at least one member of your unit available to make the vote. If no one shows up for a unit or a unit dies off before submitting a vote, their vote will be randomized.

♦ Light punishments will be status effects, medium will be milder injuries, and heavy will be severe injuries. Characters know the point value of punishments they're handing out, but not what those punishments will actually be. They do however know about the death & healing bits so they can infer it's likely to be rough.

♦ Heals given out via winning will not remove status effects!

As you enter, before you can even react, you see BAD END=DEAD END, ☆ZRAEL, & Heart Soldier Senshi dropping through the floor again -- there's a few seconds of silence, and then a series of sickening crunches. The floor rumbles under LiliS a bit, but nothing happens.]

Oooh, LiliS got by by the skin of their teeth, didn't they? Alas, they've still lost the game.

Everyone else still living are our beautiful winners! Luck sure was with us tonight... unfortunately. Ah, how I long to have seen further beauty... Alas! Until next time, sit on the edges of your seats, everyone, and await despair!

[And he winks out of existence! As he does, there's a rumbling, as the floors below the dead teams rise to expose the jagged rocks on which they've fallen, and their remains. The elevator is now open, and you may bring your own endgame toplevels.

All winning teams receive a full heal of physical wounds only! Any status effects will remain for 3 IC days. Losing teams are fucked. All dead teams will be revived, but only just barely -- without treatment they just might bite it again!]

Ordine is dead. Like, really dead. Turbo-dead. What you can see is bits covered in hardened cement in some places and others have bload-soaked crystals coming out. He's barely recognizable, especially since his normally-white hair has been stained pinkish-red with blood. Not to mention that just about every bone he has has been broken, shattered.

His face is at least mostly undisturbed, though, and his expression is almost peaceful. ]
