[Today when you enter the game tower, you find yourself on what appears to be a large stage. The curtain lifts, showing you a packed house -- not with a real audience, though. The seats are full of mannequins wearing dramatic 18th century-style clothing.

Your hologram announcer today is a completely new Host, too! A tall and slender man with long dark hair, dressed equally dramatically to the mannequins including a cape and a masquerade mask, gestures broadly at all of you with sweeping theatrics.]

Welcome, our beloved idols and precious audience, to our latest foray into the twisted hearts of men! I, Grimoire of the Dark Sun Anemone, come to open a window to the chill of cruelty, the passion of loyalty, and the bloody battle between the two! Please witness with your whole black souls the beauty of love and despair!

And also, party games!

Faced with a choice between those they adore and those they abhor, our idols must now choose who to "wed", who to "bed", and who to "behead"!

[She has several holes in her body from protruding crystals. The holes from the spikes have been healed with just a few scars, but the crystals seem keen to continue eating up her blood and are growing everywhere. There's also a light scar around her neck, but it's been patched up a little so it looks less... bad. Beyond that, she also has cement and stakes holed up inside her body.

Serenity, however, seems to mistake the gesture for something else.]

...hm? Are you okay? Do you need something?

[She's willing to try to get!! Things!!]

[ :[ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is going to stare at the crystals. she doesn't like them... mostly because she doesn't like her own and they're uncomfortable, so she imagines the same has got to be true for serenity. she reaches out gently to sweep a tentacle over one of the crystal clusters, rumbling low to try to tell her that, no, she doesn't need anything. she's fine. she's just... concerned. ]

[They're incredibly uncomfortable. She follows the tentacle to see what it's going for and-- yeah.]

...we got hit with everything imaginable, I think. And it seems like you had the same kind of luck... I'm so sorry...

[ she noses serenity's cheek and growls, eyes flickering to some of the more fine people in the room. she's sorry that both her own team and your team got hit so hard. she doesn't like to see you hurting. ]
