[ For those who were invited - and maybe those who were not - you find banners circling around one particular grove of trees like a fairy's circle, opening up at one end to an archway of flowers. Through the entrance you can see the banners reading "CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES" and "HAPPY TRAVELS" in gold font atop red and blue banner cloth.

For those who are unaware, or those who don't go through the entrance, they'll find themselves unable to pass through the trees on either end - they'll find themselves pacing in the same place if they try to proceed, and nothing will go through. In fact, you can't even see past the trees without going through the entrance first - it's like a pocket dimension, or entering another world. How . . . strange. . .

Well - step through the entrance and you'll find music beginning to play, although there's no particular source. It seems to be the ambiance - well-fitting too, given the festivities going on!

(Stepping back out of the entrance completely stops the music, and you can't even see what's going on beyond the entrance until you step back in. Hhhhhuh.)

Anyway. On the rows of picnic cloth-covered foldable tables are an unusual mix of food and drink: bread dishes, meat skewers, roasted fish, stew, and ale . . . along with soda, fried chicken, takoyaki, various street fair food, and -. . . . conbini bento? The spread is all mixed together, like whoever set it up just has no idea how they were supposed to be organizing this. There are no chairs to sit on, however; every seat is a rooted tree stump, completely immovable.

A dazzling gold carpet rolls from the entrance to the very back, where a makeshift stage has been created. There are two large speakers that stand off center on either side of the stage, but neither of them are making the music happen . . . At the center, two mic stands with sparkling confetti boas wrapping around them: one is Taisho madder and the other is pep!pep! navy.

Oh and - there are just a few barrels near the trees, strewn about. What are they there for? Atmosphere??? You can't interact with them at all - it's like that awkward thing where the graphics weren't finely tuned enough so even trying to touch them just results in the attempting appendage hovering in place. That's weird.

Well.

Putting that all aside, it's a party! ]

Hello, Imeeji! It's Wednesday from pep!pep! again, and this time I've got a question...!

Okay, so all the discussion about the, um... ecosystem yesterday made me wonder about the animals we have here... especially the pets. I've been lucky enough to meet some of the pets here, and I was starting to think maybe I'd like one myself, but - now I'm not so sure if it would be fair on them. Or on the rest of my unit, especially since I could be transferred any time. So, I thought I'd find out what everyone else thinks! Is it okay to bring animals here? Would you have a pet yourself? And, if you do have one, has it changed anything for you?

Her team will find her as she's choosing a position, still in her night clothes. She was definitely still puzzling a bit over the name.]

Good morning!

The weather’s getting nice and it’s a good day for some sightseeing, so we’re breaking out the pep!mobile and making a day of it.

For those of you not familiar with party bikes, this is a human-powered vehicle that accommodates twelve pedalers - six to a side. The bench at the back can comfortably seat two, and uncomfortably fit as many as you want. There’s also standing room in the middle for someone to serve refreshments to the passengers, as is tradition. The idea is to drink and enjoy each other’s company as we make our way to various points of interest.

This is a triple live! Joining us is Amaranth, to help us explore, and Yvette, who will be helping with the drinks. We also have a brief survey to fill out for anyone who is inclined.

This is your biggest batch yet. It's literally enough to obfuscate every outside view. What are you even going to do. At this point, maybe it's better to give up. . . . ? ]

[ Have you had enough lives yet, Imeeji? No? Good because when this live alert goes off, it features Sunshine in the lobby. He's standing a few feet away from a whiteboard that has a series of stickers (WC, AG, BEDE, BT, PP, HSS, LL, TRR, ⭐, AM, SIV, FIN) pasted at its very top. He is also holding an almost empty bottle and there's a bit of an odd limp to his gait.

He starts off with tapping the mouth of the bottle against the board, slurring his words very badly. Calling him drunk would be an understatement. ]

Nnnngh, how did I start thing thing again... ? Oh right. Big picture. Everyone needs to stop being Assholes to each other 'cuz you're missing the big picture. What picture, right? Not these yet. [ He taps in the general direction of the stickers. ] We'll get to these. The fact is most of these games are mathematically engineered to produce the maximum amount of casualties. Mathematically. Let's look at some Numbers!

So we start with these guys. You Probably know what they are but just in case. [ Tapping the bottle against each sticker in turn and going down the list with his usual furries, punks, wizards, goths, knights, heroes, scientists, bartenders, healers, nobles... ] and then there's the flower children (that's what we're calling them right?) and this us we're the school kids I can't think of anything better than that so that's what I'm going with. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. [ Draws a big 12 in the center of the board ] Twelve. Remember that number. It's important. For math. I'm really bad at math, just throwing that out here in advance. Cobalt knows math.

So there's twelve of us. But when each of us is in a game, each of us is looking at 11. [ Scripts an uneven 11 underneath the 12 ] Eleven choices. Now that's not so bad. Except that each us is made up of other Usses, right? Units aren't one person. They're lots of persons. Like 6 or 7 sometimes.

Let's say we've got a big unit and each person has a person they totally love off-team. And the unit can't go after this person because it's like IF THEY DIE I'LL KILL MYSELF AND EVERYONE IN THIS ROOM. And that's bad. Nobody wants that. Which means your 11 choices are now closer to like 5 or 4. [ Draws 5 OR 4 off to the side somewhere. ] That sounds right.

[ It basically goes on like this for a while where Sunshine tries to very messily explain various game scenarios that involve different stick figures, circles with horns on them ("but the producers are the biggest asshats in existence"), emotional faces and lots of erasing numbers and putting up new ones that basically get everything to a huge 0. Honestly, the whole thing is practically incomprehensible. ]

So it all sucks, right? And you're all like no fucking duh, Sunshine, we already knew that. Shut up, you insensitive drunken asshole. And you'd be mostly right! But, but I have a sssolution. Maybe. Let's go back to our original twelve. Remember these guys? [ Circles all the stickers ] I like the Wild City one 'cuz it's a cat. That's not important! What I'm trying to say is 12 is an Even Number.

What we want to do is buddy up so everyone has one guaranteed protector. That's nice, right? Having one guaranteed protector might make us all feel a little safer so we don't go Bonkers. It's not a perfect solution. Math sucks. But it gives some Balance. And then we have to figure out the rest.

In conclusion, don't do drugs, don't be an asshole and ALLY UP!

[ Raises his bottle and immediately loses his balance, crashing backward into the white board and cutting off the live. He might be unconscious, who knows? ]

For some people, it puts ya in a good mood. For others, it's pretty cathartic! Sometimes, all it does is make it easier ta have a cool head. Everybody's a little different! Obviously it wears off though. So think of it like the double-amnesia without the amnesia ♪

[Today you step out of the elevator, but as soon as you do, you’ll find yourself falling into a room that is basically a giant ball pit but with balloons. Trying to move around is a pain in the ass and might require a little swimming. Left is on the holo screens looking really proud of himself. You can see exactly what he's thinking:

Like last time, the music is really loud and fast, and might remind you of the arcade a little bit. They match up with the crazy strobe lights that seem to be pulsating all around you.

Sunshine is balancing the pommel of his rapier on his palm, paying most of his attention to ensuring the blade doesn't fall over since it's standing straight up. The steel seems to alternate between a brighter shade and a darker one, as he messes with its internal temperature.

In front of him is a small table with a jar and bits of paper, as well as a handful of pens. [

The game earlier got me thinking. So serious poll! What's one thing you would do in an instant if you could get away with it without any repercussions ever? Oh, and let's not be boring and repetitive so murder is off the table. Other than that, anything goes! Let's hear your craziest desires!

[ The elevator doors open to. . . the entrance to a school? You're at the shoe lockers, the area overlarge to accommodate for all the players of the day's game. On your phones, you can see Exael's hologram standing at the front of the class before a blackboard, tapping a baton (as well as a hologram can manage) against the rule set scrawled in chalk. There appear to be just over 100 rules.

At a glance, you might notice:

3. Students must attend classes.
17. No removing furniture from the dorm.
21. The broadcast system is reserved for staff use only.
24. No distributing false information.
42. No vehicles allowed indoors.
47. There are no acceptable uses for duct tape.
50. Faking illness to get out of class is against the rules.
64. Do not recklessly endanger yourself. This rule is here for your safety.
74. Kazoos are not permitted at any time or location.
99. Students are not to lock faculty out of classrooms or the dorms.
107. Honor students stick together.
108. Report all delinquents.

All of which seem like fairly reasonable rules for a school, except for the last two rules. If this were a real school. However, a school role-play does not seem to be the extent of what Exael has planned. With a particularly energetic swish of her projected baton through the blackboard, she addresses you and the ever unseen audience. ]

And chaos reigned over the land, mayhem continuing unabated!

[ She shakes her head, putting the back of her hand to her forehead, looking very tragic for a moment, before pulling that same hand down into a fist pump, speaking into a microphone that appeared there through sleight of hand or genuine magic. ]

And so, I said to the idols, come to me in the classroom and I will give thee a blackboard full of good old-fashioned school rules! And I'll reward all the good kids, but first you have to find those who have gone astray! Go turn in all the delinquents, so they can learn how to behave!

[ As rules appear on your phones, she winks at all of you and then vanishes, leaving you with free reign over the school. ]

[the Live opens on Doodleman, giving a lazy wave in the vague direction of where cameras might be. he proceeds to give a monologue in a bored tone of voice, apparently completely unenthused about the whole thing.]

Yo. The other day, I killed Ruler and got killed in return. The murder's not really the relevant part, but how some people reacted to it is. Namely, a couple of newbies seemed to be really shocked and distressed about the fact that I killed a guy for no reason and didn't feel bad about it. Being upset about murder and wanting revenge I can get, that's perfectly reasonable, but it's a problem if people have any kind of expectations about my behaviour.

So this is a public service announcement. Hi, I'm D☆☆dl☆m☆n of ☆ZRAEL. Also known as Avenger. The murder I mentioned is the first one I've done in this place, but only because I've never been successful before. There have been a lot of attempts and there will be more. And I'm not gonna feel any guilt for any of it because I don't give a fuck about any of your lives. If there was any way I could get away with it, I would kill every single one of you, probably in some pretty brutal ways.

Obviously, I already know that I can't get away with it, so I don't want anyone wasting time on warning me against attacking your unit or whatever. If you wanna keep an eye on me to make sure I don't do anything, knock yourselves out. If you wanna hate me because I'm evil and a monster, go right ahead. Just don't complain to me about it. Also, I can't change and don't even want to. Nothing's gonna fix that.
