[ For those who were invited - and maybe those who were not - you find banners circling around one particular grove of trees like a fairy's circle, opening up at one end to an archway of flowers. Through the entrance you can see the banners reading "CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES" and "HAPPY TRAVELS" in gold font atop red and blue banner cloth.

For those who are unaware, or those who don't go through the entrance, they'll find themselves unable to pass through the trees on either end - they'll find themselves pacing in the same place if they try to proceed, and nothing will go through. In fact, you can't even see past the trees without going through the entrance first - it's like a pocket dimension, or entering another world. How . . . strange. . .

Well - step through the entrance and you'll find music beginning to play, although there's no particular source. It seems to be the ambiance - well-fitting too, given the festivities going on!

(Stepping back out of the entrance completely stops the music, and you can't even see what's going on beyond the entrance until you step back in. Hhhhhuh.)

Anyway. On the rows of picnic cloth-covered foldable tables are an unusual mix of food and drink: bread dishes, meat skewers, roasted fish, stew, and ale . . . along with soda, fried chicken, takoyaki, various street fair food, and -. . . . conbini bento? The spread is all mixed together, like whoever set it up just has no idea how they were supposed to be organizing this. There are no chairs to sit on, however; every seat is a rooted tree stump, completely immovable.

A dazzling gold carpet rolls from the entrance to the very back, where a makeshift stage has been created. There are two large speakers that stand off center on either side of the stage, but neither of them are making the music happen . . . At the center, two mic stands with sparkling confetti boas wrapping around them: one is Taisho madder and the other is pep!pep! navy.

Oh and - there are just a few barrels near the trees, strewn about. What are they there for? Atmosphere??? You can't interact with them at all - it's like that awkward thing where the graphics weren't finely tuned enough so even trying to touch them just results in the attempting appendage hovering in place. That's weird.

Well.

Putting that all aside, it's a party! ]

[ today someone has come to ring Taisho's doorbell! over and over and over and over and over. somehow it seems to be to the rhythm of an actual song. when they finally come to open the door and make the noise stop, they will find Griffin, Nitro, Harpy, and Leo all gathered outside their door. Griffin and Nitro are carrying a bunch of little cakes and macarons from the cafe, while Harpy is carrying Leo in a bridal carry. the bridal carry might not have been necessary. she held him up to the doorbell so he could ring it incessantly. ]

I bear some of the responsibility of events that have occurred due to my own negligence so I have seen to it. You have no need to concern yourself of it from this point on. For any personal matters, you may address Scarlet Artemis Blade Morning☆Glory Night☆Shade with Piercing Eyes of the Sun as you like, but since this specific issue ultimately and unintentionally involves the unit, further qualms will come to me instead. With regards to Future is Now, I have deemed that they are ultimately not involved, but for any important matters concerning them, I shall simply speak to their keeper about it so you may also come to me with any concerns there also! I shall be your representative in this situation.

That is because I am the keeper of ☆ZRAEL, Pharaoh Ozymandias, King of all Kings, greatest pharaoh of Egypt, Rider class, and god of this world. Simply put, I am in a fine mood this morning. Though it has been a tumultuous week on many fronts, and my fury has been put to the test multiple times, it has passed for the time being. I can address all of you once more for my recent thoughts.

I will say although this world is filled with heinous criminals that have robbed us of what belongs to us, it is also a world filled with wonders. I have learned to enjoy such things like popcorn or pizza although soda's existence is surprisingly heinous. Teas at the cafe have been fine, and this "arcade" can help satisfy competitive urges that I am prone to.

If there are other such fascinating things from your world, share them with me immediately and I shall judge with my own eyes whether it deserves to be in my blinding presence.

[ Have you had enough lives yet, Imeeji? No? Good because when this live alert goes off, it features Sunshine in the lobby. He's standing a few feet away from a whiteboard that has a series of stickers (WC, AG, BEDE, BT, PP, HSS, LL, TRR, ⭐, AM, SIV, FIN) pasted at its very top. He is also holding an almost empty bottle and there's a bit of an odd limp to his gait.

He starts off with tapping the mouth of the bottle against the board, slurring his words very badly. Calling him drunk would be an understatement. ]

Nnnngh, how did I start thing thing again... ? Oh right. Big picture. Everyone needs to stop being Assholes to each other 'cuz you're missing the big picture. What picture, right? Not these yet. [ He taps in the general direction of the stickers. ] We'll get to these. The fact is most of these games are mathematically engineered to produce the maximum amount of casualties. Mathematically. Let's look at some Numbers!

So we start with these guys. You Probably know what they are but just in case. [ Tapping the bottle against each sticker in turn and going down the list with his usual furries, punks, wizards, goths, knights, heroes, scientists, bartenders, healers, nobles... ] and then there's the flower children (that's what we're calling them right?) and this us we're the school kids I can't think of anything better than that so that's what I'm going with. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. [ Draws a big 12 in the center of the board ] Twelve. Remember that number. It's important. For math. I'm really bad at math, just throwing that out here in advance. Cobalt knows math.

So there's twelve of us. But when each of us is in a game, each of us is looking at 11. [ Scripts an uneven 11 underneath the 12 ] Eleven choices. Now that's not so bad. Except that each us is made up of other Usses, right? Units aren't one person. They're lots of persons. Like 6 or 7 sometimes.

Let's say we've got a big unit and each person has a person they totally love off-team. And the unit can't go after this person because it's like IF THEY DIE I'LL KILL MYSELF AND EVERYONE IN THIS ROOM. And that's bad. Nobody wants that. Which means your 11 choices are now closer to like 5 or 4. [ Draws 5 OR 4 off to the side somewhere. ] That sounds right.

[ It basically goes on like this for a while where Sunshine tries to very messily explain various game scenarios that involve different stick figures, circles with horns on them ("but the producers are the biggest asshats in existence"), emotional faces and lots of erasing numbers and putting up new ones that basically get everything to a huge 0. Honestly, the whole thing is practically incomprehensible. ]

So it all sucks, right? And you're all like no fucking duh, Sunshine, we already knew that. Shut up, you insensitive drunken asshole. And you'd be mostly right! But, but I have a sssolution. Maybe. Let's go back to our original twelve. Remember these guys? [ Circles all the stickers ] I like the Wild City one 'cuz it's a cat. That's not important! What I'm trying to say is 12 is an Even Number.

What we want to do is buddy up so everyone has one guaranteed protector. That's nice, right? Having one guaranteed protector might make us all feel a little safer so we don't go Bonkers. It's not a perfect solution. Math sucks. But it gives some Balance. And then we have to figure out the rest.

In conclusion, don't do drugs, don't be an asshole and ALLY UP!

[ Raises his bottle and immediately loses his balance, crashing backward into the white board and cutting off the live. He might be unconscious, who knows? ]

[Has Maki even ever called a ☆ZRAEL live? Well, she appears to be doing it now. The backdrop of her monologue is the shaded facade of a building a few blocks away from the hotel.]

It has come to my attention that the vast majority of people here appear to be fine with letting future is now die in games. I could say some things about that, given all the things that Intensity does, and the sort of person that Angel is... but I understand. There are no good options in these games, and if you're not close with someone and you think it won't be that bad, sometimes that's the best choice you can make.

Which is why I'm using this live to give you another piece of information to consider, the next time you have to make that choice. From now on, anyone who attacks future is now in games will have to deal with me.

...I'm not speaking for my unit here, or for future is now. ☆ZRAEL may or may not retaliate. Future is now may retaliate on their own, too. But I definitely will retaliate. For the record, I'm known as the Ultimate Assassin, and I have a wide variety of methods... some flashier than others. I don't promise they'll be fatal, but I won't rule it out, either.

And I'm not interested in discussing whether or not you think this is fair. It doesn't matter if it's fair. It's a consequence. If you attack future is now, that's what will happen. Keep it in mind.
