"Appended to the dorm is a half-covered outdoor area, with banners fluttering in the breeze and a rustic hewn stone floor pairing the patio to the same aesthetic that the dormitory indoors have. Patio lounge chairs and gliders are made of wrought-iron, with tapestry fabric cushions to relax comfortably on top. There's a portable antique bronze firepit that can be used during the colder months or at night, or put away if they want. From the stone archways, they get an excellent view— perks of living on the highest floor."

There's booze and food in a casual mingling atmosphere! A low fire is going in the pit. The food is Indian, since apparently Cardigan knows how to cook that. The booze is sake. Heart Soldier's supposed to bring dessert.

[ the game tower elevators are marked with unit names again, which might have started being ominous at this point. once everyone's filed in and the doors close behind you, the rules pop up on your phones, and Mukuro's face pops up on the screen, waving his arms. as always, it's a close-up shot that shows just his upper torso, and his kimono is pulled snugly closed over his chest. ]

Welcome back, everyone~! For today's program, we've invited back the new and ever-popular amnesia-roman generation of ImePro idols! This is a "starter game" for the just-debuted unit pep!pep!, so please cheer for them extra loud, from the bo~ttom of your hearts ♥!

To give them a gentle intro, the rules this time are very simple! Just poison others and don't get poisoned!

[ the screen flicks off, and the elevators shudder to a stop and let you out into your rooms. ]

[Here's Cardigan. They're never and full uniform and that applies today, dressed in just a plain undershirt. Even the sword customarily on their hip is missing.]

It's been a long couple of days so I'll try to make this short.

Avante's 'oath' Live hasn't been put to much use yet, but I want to make one now.

The oath is this: I swear to every unit that I will always work to minimize harm, and to do my utmost to prevent death and suffering among all units, as much as the protection of my own unit allows.

[a short pause, oath done.] I know that sounds pretty watered-down, but I think we're better of acknowledging that when it comes down to it, we all want to protect our own units and those we care about above anything else.

[Now,]

I do truly believe the best thing we can do to protect our own units is to protect each other. For that we need to be able to trust each other. Despite some of the outcomes of the last game, I think it was pretty good proof that we can trust each other to do what's right.

But a big part of trust is accountability when trust is broken. Games like the last aren't going to stop while we're here, and there's even been violence outside the games. [not pointing any fingers ZRAEL but you know who you are.]

I've already made this clear to Taisho, but I don't intend to keep it a secret. If Yasuragi again willfully acts to cause death or intolerable suffering to anyone here, I will kill him, outside of the tower. If, before that time, we as a community establish guidelines on how to deal with what violence we can control, or if Taisho presents a reasonable plan of action, I'll happily submit to that instead.

[That appears to be the bulk of the announcement.]

Thanks for listening. I have two things left I want to mention.

First, anyone who prefers to think there's no point in trying because we're helpless victims of the games should remember that it's the same Hosts running the games that make us all better afterward, and the same Hosts that give us our abilities. Consider carefully how much you want to continue to depend on that 'goodwill'.

Second, with that in mind, anyone else who can swear to do their best to protect their fellow idols is fee to join me in my oath.

Right, so...we’re making a bunch of food for everyone, fresh and hot! You can come on over and take some. We do deliveries too, though you’ll have to wait a while for that. Just send a message to Eclipse, Hiryuu or Hurricane.

[ It's warm, humid, and rainy in Faukyo today, so the game alert isn't the worst it could be. Hey, an excuse to get inside! Whatever happens in the tower, at least you won't get rained on (probably!) And the last two games were fine!

This one won't be, though, judging by the screens flickering on and Exael's bubbly countenance visible on them.

"It's time to welcome our newest batch of idols! Today's game is one of wit, set your minds to the task and I'm sure you can figure it out! But with the clock ticking, remember, sometimes the smartest thing is knowing when to give up!"

Her hologram winks at the camera as you arrive.

You're not too many floors up this time, the room set with many polychromatic tiles lit up in the floor, with bright cords and fairy lights strung up every color imaginable and draped across the ceiling of the room. There's screens for puzzles to be displayed on podiums scattered throughout the room, and at the center of the room Exael's hologram is on a trapeze swing, waving down at you.

"Now let the games begin!"

Only now do instructions appear on your phone. ]

Boxes. Boxes and boxes and boxes. Once more, there are nine boxes, but they're all stacked in front of the Lobby doors, like the delivery guy just decided, eh, fuck it, we're leaving them here.

. . . Well, you might as well go check them out. Or shove them to the side to leave. Careful though, you might accidentally knock over something ~compromising~. . . . !

[ Good morning! Are you ready for some more fun? Good, because the GAME ALERT is going off again!

Go up the elevators and you'll find yourself going down the hall to an expansive balcony with several unit-colored mini-tables big enough for two people, with two patio chairs and garden umbrellas to boot. Why not have a game outside, it's such a nice day after all! You can see the rest of the city from up here, too - it turns out you're pretty high up as you can even see the start of the Rainbow Bridge from here, though the railings are high so there's not a high likelihood of accidentally falling down.

There are a few lemonade pitchers scattered around with paper cups if you're thirsty, but nothing else. Today, you dine on love (dates). I guess you could also dine on the question cards.

[ Your phone alert goes off: time to get to the Game Tower. Follow the map, and you'll get there, the same as always!

Should you decide to go, no one appears on the monitors as you ride the elevator up. Looks like there's no host today. That's… probably a good sign? Your phone gets a message popping up with the instructions, and the doors open to a floor, not too high up, with an expansive bar. Anything you want to drink, it's here, organized by alcohol level-- with cups beneath the shelves helpfully marked and corresponding to how much you have to drink to equal one shot of vodka. (30ML of 40 percent alcohol) There's a little analyzer too at the bar that helpfully will tell you what glass to use with your cocktail, if you make one from the recipe book sitting there.

There's lounge chairs and tables and a nice view.

This should be a nice fun relaxing game!

Hello, everyone! Some of you may remember four days ago, during the festival, when I had an altercation with Angel and Intensity. It was very memorable, since Man✩Eater was very cool when he defeated Intensity for a second time.

[ and let's not talk about how uncool it was when she was just picked up and tossed into the water and almost drowned, ]

Watching the two of them play was very fun. Oh! But the point of mentioning this is that I'm here today to talk about what I realized that day, thanks to the very helpful Loki of sensitIV as well as whichever wonderful fan of mine or Angel's sent us that story!

[ She buries her face in her hands, giggling, before continuing: ]

I realized that I love Angel! A love different than the normal love that I have for everyone, or the love that usually forms the bond between a witch and her familiar -- seeing her makes my heart flutter, every time I touch the spot where she stabbed me I feel warmth and happiness...

[ She raises her arm, showing off the shitty ass friendship bracelet Angel put on her wrist. ]

Angel gave this me to claim something of mine for her, because she didn't want me to be disappointed that my death at her hands was meaningless...but I was wrong in thinking that. Because on that day, in that house, she took something incredibly precious. Her terrified face as she defended herself from me, her blade lodged deep inside of me, her smile as she said those final words before darkness took me: "I'll make sure to take care of you properly. I really respect you."...

On that day, in death, Angel took from me my heart.

I love her. So very, very much. And I hope that one day, she'll realize what that means. Even if I have to carve my feelings into her over and over and over and over...

Ah.

[ She looks up at the cameras, waving -- ]

And to my precious, wonderful fans -- ah, no -- my familiars, thank you for your support! I hope you continue sending me nice things. If I could make a request, it'd make me soooooo happy to have a recording of my encounter with Angel in that house, so I can cherish that moment we spent together forever♪ Thank you very much, hehe♪
