[ Your phone alert goes off: time to get to the Game Tower. Follow the map, and you'll get there, the same as always!

Should you decide to go, no one appears on the monitors as you ride the elevator up. Looks like there's no host today. That's… probably a good sign? Your phone gets a message popping up with the instructions, and the doors open to a floor, not too high up, with an expansive bar. Anything you want to drink, it's here, organized by alcohol level-- with cups beneath the shelves helpfully marked and corresponding to how much you have to drink to equal one shot of vodka. (30ML of 40 percent alcohol) There's a little analyzer too at the bar that helpfully will tell you what glass to use with your cocktail, if you make one from the recipe book sitting there.

There's lounge chairs and tables and a nice view.

This should be a nice fun relaxing game!

When: Day 26 - Afternoon

[ Evening falls early over Tokyo-F. It's less a sign of the approach of changing seasons (as it is currently 1:00 PM) and more reminiscent of the ever-present night of Tanabata. Especially as little fires flare up around town, on altars to welcome spirits. Lanterns have been strung over streets and open spaces, and Japanese folk music echoes through the empty streets-- an uncanny atmosphere that exists in a liminal space between festive and unsettling. Fitting, for an Obon Festival.

Shinjuku Gyoen has a tower set up, taiko drums in the center and hologram dancers all around and crowding the area— perhaps here the lonely feeling of empty faukyo fades, surrounded by a crowd you can fade into and spend some time dancing with. Or perhaps it increases, seeing these figures who don't see you at all, as if you are the ghost in the crowd. Nearby, the tea house has a banquet set up-- all funeral food, but all free.

If characters choose to make their way to the waterfront, they'll find paper lanterns waiting for them, to be floated out to sea if they choose to do so. A sign nearby any given collection of them will tell characters:
During Obon the souls of the dead return to visit the living— and so we release these lanterns out to sea, to guide the souls back safely to peace.

Oh, also, you have new scouts, good luck dealing with them on top of your Betrayal trauma.
