which is to say Hope is ensconced on one of the benches lining the park in the early evening, playing memory roulette to see if she can get the answer to a question she has. the results are... well. they're illuminating of something.

In the first one, her young travel companion slash rescuee is too eager to take up the same fight;
In the second one, she and her colleagues find evidence of a hair-raising experiment to create half-vampire children;
In the third one, Hope contemplates making a very significant choice. That's the one that stops her, staring down at her phone. ]

...I chose this.

[probably perching in a tree outside the hotel while he buys one (1) memory. it's...not exactly very helpful, since it's just him reading a book about the "Guardian Yakshas" and then dismissing it once he's done as "literati fan fiction."]

[ Skylark has decided to chance taking memories in the park again. Will he get something okay or terrible this time! At this point he may as well take bets on it.

The memory that he gets is not only okay, it's... actually kind of cute? Embarrassingly so, some might say. Sometimes you invite your best friend to stay at your home for a bit and you end up holding her hand in bed to try and help her fall asleep.

Lark, for his part, seems to think it's embarrassing because he has his face in his hands now. ]

Ye gods someone just put past me out to sea already.

[You ever have several friends who talk about how they think you'd be good with kids and like them and then take not one but two memories about how kids just make you disproportionately angry because you have childhood trauma you want to take out on them? No? Well apparently he does, and that...isn't a surprise actually.

But it sure feels awkward. He's going to...just try to go back to heading off somewhere rather than dwell on those freshly opened wounds!]

[it's been a while since raven took some memories, so he's loading up a couple.

the first one is mostly a lucid dream sequence in which raven gets really existential and sad.

the second one involves raven saving(?!) some humans from being killed because he finally grew a conscience.

raven looks... surprised? contemplative, sure, but he wasn't quite expecting that.]

[He's at the café again, exiting this time because he was wise enough to actually sit and eat his treats first before trying out the memory roulette.

He fiddles with his phone, purchasing a private memory, expression darkening. And then another. And then another.

Slightly agitated, he tries a public memory instead and, well.

He sure tried to drive Kanon into despair so he'd agree to die to Hizumi's hand. But Kanon argued against it to the end, even realizing Izanagi would just guarantee his isolation as a murderer.

And then... Izanagi killed him.

Izanagi freezes in place even as the memory finishes playing out on the screens, eyes still locked on them as they go blank once more, expression a mix - horror, guilt...

Resignation.

Despair.]

[ He splurged a little the other day during his 'shopping spree' when he got a couple of outfits, not just for himself, but his senpai too. But... he really ought to return to his main focus.

Which of course is to remember his past. Both his senpai have been impatiently waiting for him to remember something... or anything, really, of importance. Which is why he decides to take a couple of memories, sitting beneath a tree near the hotel.

But the memories aren't really what he expected.

The first memory is of himself and his cousin once more. He's a bit confusing and crude with is speech, but-- it's nice to have another memory with such a cute person again.

His second memory, though...

He's a little younger-- his appearance placing him somewhere in middle school, most likely. But it... doesn't paint him in the best light. Not only was he unnecessarily... unkind, but... he very clearly became an idol after all that. ]

How embarrassing...

After watching the second one she actually just pauses and then

[well she's found a small park, on the way back from her morning run. and maybe it's early enough that no one will see her memory.

but to make it simple for those watching, at one point Adora tries to throw a tank and is told "SHE-RA! PUT! IT! DOWN! WE DO NOT THROW TANKS AT OUR FRIENDS!"

and it ends with Adora, as She-ra, pointing accusingly at the same tank getting thrown at them with, "Oh, but she gets to throw tanks at us!?"
