[ Today you step out of the elevators and into the game room to find yourselves in an airy Grand Ballroom. Maybe, if you've been here long enough--you might recognize this room?

At the front of the room is a buffet table featuring finger sandwiches, petit fours, and savory pastries as well as a variety of small desserts complemented by bottoms-up turned teacups and steaming hot kettles set up for self-serve. From nowhere to be seen comes the sound of instruments playing. Up above, tethered to the ceiling, are what appear to be long curtains. …

The small, square tables feature place cards that as of yet are mysteriously empty, but other than that--there is nothing on the table. Those who have walked in and might prefer to walk out again will find they are mysteriously barred from exiting…. ]

It was back when we had all those extra units. Everyone piled on us, Eichi turned on me the minute his precious Wataru showed up, Shadow Weaver was. . .

[Well. Sabre knows.]

She came to pick me up because I couldn't walk, so she knew how hard we were hit. So I thought she'd keep Heart off us. BARiTONES wanted to play against them in the fourth round, I talked them out of it, and then they hit us with a nine point card even though they were leading the game with, like, fifty points.

I was an idiot. Okay?

And like I said -- who cares about them? There are only a few people who ever actually matter. Just focus on them.

I don't care. I told her I was done with her. She was just going to keep letting her stupid unit do whatever they wanted to me.

[ There's not much she can say, exactly, since the very people Kohime resents are the ones who've actually come through for Sabre, against all odds.

She just sights, tired suddenly. ]

I dunno how everyone here has so many wives. That kind of thing must happen all the time. You always have to hit somebody.

Like D.Va, or Nerd, or any of them who are all devoted to like a dozen people. If you've got one on every unit then you're gonna have to hit one at some point.

[ She's antisocial and dating nobody and yet even she had to deal with this in God's game, it's terrible ]

Don't. You're no better. You gave pep, what, a minute of disapproval after they killed me for no reason? And then cozied back up to them right after. And don't even get me started on Heart.

I know two people on each of those units. All of them saved my life at some point or I wouldn't give them the time of day.

But sure, that must mean I'm buddy-buddy with all of them no matter what. We voted for pep to die in that last game.
