[ Today you step out of the elevators and into the game room to find yourselves in an airy Grand Ballroom. Maybe, if you've been here long enough--you might recognize this room?

At the front of the room is a buffet table featuring finger sandwiches, petit fours, and savory pastries as well as a variety of small desserts complemented by bottoms-up turned teacups and steaming hot kettles set up for self-serve. From nowhere to be seen comes the sound of instruments playing. Up above, tethered to the ceiling, are what appear to be long curtains. …

The small, square tables feature place cards that as of yet are mysteriously empty, but other than that--there is nothing on the table. Those who have walked in and might prefer to walk out again will find they are mysteriously barred from exiting…. ]

[Nudges into him, shoulders loosening some]

...c'mon. I'll show you.

[He nudges into her, too - peels off, and heads for the fire escape on a nearby building]

...you gonna be okay, wearing that thing?

There something you think I gotta worry about?

It getting caught on stuff, maybe. S'kinda long.

Uh--sure, go for it.

Stay still for just a sec, kay?

[Drops to his knees in front of her and reaches between her legs to gather up the fabric in two parts, using the split to help divide it]

Ah...

[She looks down, and her legs shift, a little]

[Possibly he is faintly flushed, but surely she can't tell anyway, with the way his face is inclined, focused on the task]

[It takes him a few - he has never done this before - but he saw a thing on the internet once, and he's good with his hands, so he manages to work something out]

[Possibly too good with his hands,]

[Anyway, she doesn't stop him, though her legs seem especially warm as he goes]

Ahh...handy...

Right? Shouldn't be too bad.

[He gives her leg a little rub, gentle, on the side of the knee as he draws back and glances up at her face, still blushing]

Move around a little, see if it stays?

[Scratches her nose, then jogs in place a little, jumping a few steps back]

Mm... Seem like it's doing okay?

Sweet.

[When he glances up, the blush is visible; he flushes deeper, rubs at the back of his neck as he climbs to his feet]

You ready to get moving?

[Perhaps a good thing she'd lost her hairpin or that interaction would have ended very differently--as it is, she dips in to peck him on the lips first before pulling back]

Ready if you are.

[Alas, he still has lingering effects from lipstick and a ring, and it's driving him a little crazy. He can't quite help leaning into that - flushes deeper, and makes himself be good, pulling back]

Yeah... let's get outta here.

[Before he can talk himself into another kiss (or five), he turns toward the open rooftop and takes off running, glancing back to make sure she's fallen in next to him]

[Snickers at both of them before starting off to follow him, attempting to watch where he goes]

[He takes off running across the rooftop - doesn't stop when he gets to the edge, but instead throws himself straight over the gap, to the ledge of another roof five feet down]

[She follows, barely hesitating to follow him over the edge and keep pounding forward]

[Across the new rooftop, over an air vent, between an outcropping and a wall to fling himself onto the roof next door]
