[ Today you step out of the elevators and into the game room to find yourselves in an airy Grand Ballroom. Maybe, if you've been here long enough--you might recognize this room?

At the front of the room is a buffet table featuring finger sandwiches, petit fours, and savory pastries as well as a variety of small desserts complemented by bottoms-up turned teacups and steaming hot kettles set up for self-serve. From nowhere to be seen comes the sound of instruments playing. Up above, tethered to the ceiling, are what appear to be long curtains. …

The small, square tables feature place cards that as of yet are mysteriously empty, but other than that--there is nothing on the table. Those who have walked in and might prefer to walk out again will find they are mysteriously barred from exiting…. ]

But most of the game's effects seem to be gone now.

Some girl on Bad End who tried to stop her from cleaving Hiryuu in half again.

...Well, I'm glad you managed to stop her.

I wasn't checking on her, anyway, I was apologizing to her. I just wasn't going to do that while she was chained to the ground.

[hissterics]

For what?

[rollplayinghouse]

...I kissed her, when she had that perfume on. She didn't seem very comfortable with that kind of thing.

[hissterics]

So? She can get over it, everybody kisses everybody in these games.

[rollplayinghouse]

She can, but I can still apologize and clarify that I wouldn't have done it if it weren't for the perfume.

In a game like this that messes with people's emotions, the worst part can be not knowing what's real and what's not. I won't pretend like it was all meaningless, so I'll take responsibility, but I don't want to mislead anyone, either.

[hissterics]

. . . Right. Whatever.

Just don't go around unchaining people all the time, maybe think about why your own unitmates made a judgement call, whether you actually care or not.

...Of course I care. I wouldn't have done it if it wasn't the end of the game.

[hissterics]

What does the game ending have to do with it? I never got an item that made me suddenly want to kill people.

[rollplayinghouse]

...Sure. She told me in our round she'd like to try to kill me again for real, and I'm pretty sure those were her real feelings. But that doesn't mean she's just going to do it without the game influences pushing her into it, any more than everyone here is going to keep making out with everyone they want to kiss.

[hissterics]

Not everyone is just okay with people casually wanting to murder random people.

[rollplayinghouse]

Doesn't most of ZRAEL casually want to murder random people...?

[hissterics]

We don't do it! And even if we do, I don't expect everyone to go "oh, no worries, let's be buddies and hold hands anyway!" in response!

[rollplayinghouse]

[bristling slightly]

I didn't say anything like that, I just said it seemed safe to unchain her because she probably wasn't going to try to murder anyone right now.

Weren't you kissing Sashay? They killed you and the others a bunch of times and they want to kill everyone in the world, more than casually. How about we worry about that one for a second?

[hissterics]

Because I know she isn't going to touch me now, that's why!

You already made it clear you don't care about my judgement, though, so I'm done. Do what you want, Glory.

[ WHIPS AROUND AND FLOUNCES, full melodramatic cat style. ]

How is that any different—!

that's not great. but Glory has more pressing concerns and doesn't feel like chasing this argument is going to go anywhere, so she just lets her go]
