[ Today you step out of the elevators and into the game room to find yourselves in an airy Grand Ballroom. Maybe, if you've been here long enough--you might recognize this room?

At the front of the room is a buffet table featuring finger sandwiches, petit fours, and savory pastries as well as a variety of small desserts complemented by bottoms-up turned teacups and steaming hot kettles set up for self-serve. From nowhere to be seen comes the sound of instruments playing. Up above, tethered to the ceiling, are what appear to be long curtains. …

The small, square tables feature place cards that as of yet are mysteriously empty, but other than that--there is nothing on the table. Those who have walked in and might prefer to walk out again will find they are mysteriously barred from exiting…. ]

Nah, it's not that. I had fun. Didn't even get dragged into a second round, but... a really close friend of mine was just pulled off the show and this was only a distraction.

[ tilts her head and looks at him. ] What did you have in mind?

I am old and settled in my ways, but I imagine you enjoy excitement. Your smile is also infectious.

We could try the theme park if you don't mind me observing you watching the rides.

Heh, and you'd be right. We could go there. Maybe I could get you to play a game or two. It's not all rides.

Do you want to take one of my cars or would you rather catch a ride on my aibou?

Let’s take a ride on Snakes on a Plane then. No need to head back to the dorm, since we can just leave straight from here.

[ in a flash of bright pink light she’ll summon her aibou, who circles the two of them and then immediately looks to Alexander to check him out, because he’s not somebody he’s met before. ]

[ it’s going to press it’s head forward into Alexander’s palm, because it’s alright to pat. it knows it’s amazing, ok, so go ahead and lavish it in attention and affection!!! ]

[ she chuckles. ] I named all of my aibou after movies! I’ll have to introduce you to all of them sometime, but there’s Snakes on a Plane, Jaws, and Cujo. [ she’s just going to leave out the last aibou for... reasons x: ]

I know none of these films. Ah, but we do have a movie room in BARiTONES courtesy of Wildfire. Perhaps you could bring them over.

I could do that, sure! We can have, like, a sleepover or something. It'll be fun~ [ she climbs aboard snakes and offers alexander a hand to come aboard. ] I know Cosmo really likes my aibou, since back home he could conjure beasts of magic and stuff. It seemed pretty cool.
