liar hotel
Who: You.
Where: The hotel.
When: Monday.
[ And so, the bus rolls up to the hotel, and you're set free to go to your own room with . . . literally no luggage, haha, fools.
Once you get past the extremely eye catching stairs up into the building, the hotel ceiling looks like the vaults of a gothic european church, repainted and repurposed as a nightclub with violet lights glowing and illuminating the arched beams, and light streaming from a jewel-like multi-faceted light in the ceiling's central dome. Above the automatic sliding door you enter through are windows of stained glass that show scenes of people paying tribute to the sun, and windows that are just television screens, showing iconic scenes of hell movies: there's the fall of Lucifer, there's a Romeo and Juliet-like tragic love between an angel and a demon, a heroic war scene valorizing the demon on screen, etcetera. The front desk will hand you the keys to your room, and a map of the building. Looks like you have the usual hotel amneities of an ice machine on your floor! There's a nightclub too, on the basement level. Your rooms, for better or worse, are in the same sort of aesthetic. You haven't been grouped by unit, but instead randomly assigned doubles or singles-- whatever the hotel had room for, it looks like.
(OOCly, you can decide to room with whoever you like, as long as they're also staying at the hotel in Liar Hell!) ]

When we broke out of jail, we split up into three groups. Maki and Doodles stayed back and waited for Exael to show. Talon and MoonMoon called Azzy for a ride. That left myself, Kohime, Requiem and John to strike out on our own. What an RPG party, right?
[Sighs]
If I'd known that all of you were coming, I might have taken another option.

And what caused the blow up that got us all here?

...
I spoke with Hurricane. It seems they found their angel. And that they apparently crashed the angel's ship into Tokyo-F. The specifics I'm fuzzy on. And actually, I don't know if there are any more specifics than that.
Regardless, that wasn't done on our side. Ours was a jail break - nothing more.

As they walk through the gate, there is a blinding golden light that wigs the camera eye out completely. When things come into focus again, the perspective is definitely one from a prison cell - golden energy bars between them and their jailers. Which there are two of - this guy with a bored expression and six golden wings. And a woman who looks part lion.
They identify themselves as security.
The camera swivels around as Intensity takes head count of who's there - Maki, Kohime, John, Requiem, Leo, Talon, and Doodles.
When Intensity asks for who they work for - the man replies "whoever pays". But when Intensity offers a bribe, the reply is "I don't take payment from sinners." and "Those who are righteous are rewarded. You being in this predicament shows your predilection to stray from the light."
Snippets of conversation can be heard around him as the other people are talking to the guards.
Words and phrases like "bail, trial, or punishment." "Image re-education." Something also about "getting one call out". The voice talking with the guard for the last bit sounds like John.]

The male guard has an obvious keyring even if the cell doesn't have an obvious key hole. But that doesn't seem to dissuade them.
Out of the corner of the camera's view, Maki is trying to use some ZRAEL power to break the bars. It doesn't seem to be too successful at the moment. That blurs out of focus as Kohime comes up to talk to Intensity. Makes a motion with her hands. Puppeteering to get the keys.
And before John can protest (poor John!)---
Kohime has puppeteered the male guard close enough for Intensity to grab the keys. Except. When Intensity pulls his hand back - the keys won't fit through the bars even though laws of physics say they should. Which leads to an uncomfortable stare down between Intensity and the angel, where the angel's wings (not affected by puppeteering) pass through the bars as if they weren't there to wrap around Intensity's limbs.
Kohime holds up a hand to where the wings would be on herself, threatening to break them. And then the guard just... disappears.
Leaving them both just awkwardly standing there with Intensity still holding the keys outside of the cell.]

The other guard doesn't seem overly concerned with this. In fact, multiple people are let out to take their one phone call. John disappears into a door on the opposite side of the room - controlled by a panel. Talon as well.
There is a hint of blue-silver FiN magic as Intensity accesses that panel. It needs a retina scan to operate it, but its controls for an elevator. Yes, they are somehow in a cellevator with different phone booths located on each floor.
Leo also gets a turn to get out of the cell to take a phone call, and Intensity tosses him the keys since they aren't doing him any good. But the bars have no lock. So there isn't anything to be done. Leo goes over to the panel when the lion guard stops him. He stops her (and everyone else) with appel - a loud obnoxious scream and attempts to stab her to get her eyes for the panel or something (Intensity isn't really sure what's going on there). The guard gets up immediately and Leo and Req (with verticality from inside the cell) try to fight her off. But it doesn't work and Leo gets thrown back collared (and powerless) into the cage.
Meanwhile, there is some scuffling behind Intensity that he keeps glancing back at - apparently the other guard didn't teleport out at all but was invisible. And the guard and Kohime are rough housing inside the cell. It ends with Kohime sitting on top of him and a tired response of "phone privileges revoked."]
