liar hotel
Who: You.
Where: The hotel.
When: Monday.
[ And so, the bus rolls up to the hotel, and you're set free to go to your own room with . . . literally no luggage, haha, fools.
Once you get past the extremely eye catching stairs up into the building, the hotel ceiling looks like the vaults of a gothic european church, repainted and repurposed as a nightclub with violet lights glowing and illuminating the arched beams, and light streaming from a jewel-like multi-faceted light in the ceiling's central dome. Above the automatic sliding door you enter through are windows of stained glass that show scenes of people paying tribute to the sun, and windows that are just television screens, showing iconic scenes of hell movies: there's the fall of Lucifer, there's a Romeo and Juliet-like tragic love between an angel and a demon, a heroic war scene valorizing the demon on screen, etcetera. The front desk will hand you the keys to your room, and a map of the building. Looks like you have the usual hotel amneities of an ice machine on your floor! There's a nightclub too, on the basement level. Your rooms, for better or worse, are in the same sort of aesthetic. You haven't been grouped by unit, but instead randomly assigned doubles or singles-- whatever the hotel had room for, it looks like.
(OOCly, you can decide to room with whoever you like, as long as they're also staying at the hotel in Liar Hell!) ]

Keep doing what you’re doing. I’ll stay in touch.

Well everything I imagine.
But what in particular?

But also this worked out. Surprisingly not badly other than that? We're all. We'll.
[points at a cat ear]
But we skipped the horrific torture part C went through. It's not that terrible.
So.
When does the rug get pulled out. Because I don't trust this.

[And leaving the Talon thing for a hot second...]
You're worried about the fact that they've just mass corrupted an entire production.
Well, that's one way to keep their toys in place.

The angel's ship had a console to measure it.
Maybe to get them back, you need a full purification. Or either way, a dunk in that pool will take care of your immediate problems.

[Reaches out to tentatively ruffle his hair]
They brought more of it back. Holy water. So we don't have to place all our bets on that ship making it out of this in one piece.

That's huge.
[cat ears perking up at the hair ruffle]

Perhaps I should be doing more though and contacting someone from each unit...
no subject
Keeping busy until the other shoe drops, I see.
Fuss over the other units as you see fit but also make sure that it’s a stress-minus instead of a stress-plus. I’m going to need you at your best when whatever happens... happens.
Use the downtime appropriately.

I'm going to have a date even if it kills me.

Is this an apocalypse date?
“Since it may be our last day alive, let’s live life with no regrets” date?

Well then. I won’t keep you.
And as much as you don’t like the position Talon’s in, you have to admit he’s one of the few qualified for that job.
no subject
I'm so stressed out about that. Couldn't someone else have done it...
no subject
But then he would have just wanted to prove himself somewhere else.
He's the one who gets to decide if he's a child or not.
