It could have gone worse. It also could have gone better.
Do you need a hand up? [ It'll hurt him, but ask him if he cares ]

However... yes. All things considered, these afflictions aren't the worst they could be. One is experiencing no pain, and this is all generally an inconvenience one accepted by choice. So, one shall manage... somehow. One shall ruminate on a strategy.
no subject
Grateful as I am that you're not in pain, being struck helpless is a form of distress that can be equally as much a burden.

...One did not realize those of... "Zrael" have the ability to levitate, however. That is useful information. Perhaps if one crosses one's path, one shall inquire.

The days are long but the centuries are short, as they say. If you find yourself settled and wish for some company, I'll be glad to offer. If you have desire for solitude, it's no great matter. [ Well and truly not his problem, but it seems friendly to at least offer. ]
no subject
One has not... thought that far ahead. So...
[she wiggles her legs uselessly. yep, still dead. ok.]
Yes. We shall see.
It appears one shall have time for reading about the other troupe's abilities. Ah... once one is able to recover one's phone, that is.
[she is slowly taking stock of all the things she can't easily do, suddenly]

So. Acquired your abilities, have you?
no subject
[ that's a yes ]
It can fly us about at a frustratingly slow pace, but I have to bear the weight of any passengers. While I'm stronger than a mortal of this size would be, I worry more for your dignity. ZRAEL's method might be easier.

How intriguing!
That said... one currently has no particular place to be. One would not know which destination to request.
Though... perhaps... should you find yourself with time on your hands at some point in the next few days, might one request that you retrieve one's phone?

I can bring your phone along with a basket of the finest fruits from our gardens. [ a customary offering to a goddess, certainly ]
Alas, that's the best I can offer unless you'd like to request some scenery to view. Our illusions are quite convincing. My senses were fooled by them, which surprised me. Magic here works in strange ways.

When the art of making things seem is second nature, you watch for the tells. Illusions as I think of them only fool those who see without seeing.
[ Speaking in riddles is go, but he sort of expects she'll follow well enough. Immortal things. ]

Yes, quite right, quite right. It is easy to get away with it when shaping a subject's dreams, when they are naturally in a more suggestible state. But much more craftsmanship and attention to detail is necessary in the waking realm.
—In any case, before one gets on another tangent, let one describe to you the location in which the phone is cached. To the west-northwest of the communal domicile there is a strip of garden along the road, and in this garden are several bushes... [god, there are like 320948573098 bushes in Tokyo-F]
...Fie. If only one had a map with which to show you with greater ease. One specifically chose this spot for discretion, thus there is an underabundance of descriptors one might use to set this particular place apart.

In all seriousness, some time outside the dorm seems advisable for any number of reasons.

Did things go poorly?
no subject
Not as well as I would have liked. I was more or less left to make the decisions alone, despite the physical presence of others.
[ And then people learned why making agreements with the Fae is a bad idea, figured it was just him being stubborn, there were accusations of callousness and control issues flying, it wasn't great. ]

I didn't do as eloquent a job as I might have of explaining why going back on an agreement isn't something I can easily do. By mortal standards, it was needlessly stubborn.
[ Smiling ruefully. He can't help what he is. ]

Most of the agreements I'm aware of end with a line such as "lest the lightning strike me dead" or the like. It's -- my nature. I can't explain it better than that. To undo an accord would run counter to what I am.
I offered to alter it if the other party to it agreed, and they wouldn't.
no subject
Alter it how?
no subject
We never got that far. The consensus seemed to be that I be left with both the task I found distasteful and no choice of which remedies I would have to consume. On the ground that I wouldn't regret it, or something like that. It got heated near the end.
Regretful indeed. [ Not that he'd necessarily change much in retrospect except perhaps being able to explain himself better. High stress situations will have that challenge. ]
no subject
Is that accurate?
no subject
I did consume a remedy that made me unable to lie before I insisted, so that may have been a factor as well.
[ He has a sense of fairness that is a bit extra and couldn't hide it as effectively after that. But mostly he can't imagine who would be okay with "I'm not only going to abdicate all responsibility for how this goes but also start downing the remedies I prefer before anyone else has a chance to decide anything for themselves". ]
