This was hardly a contest of martial prowess. Nor did it require any particularly cunning strategy. At most, it was a test of resolve, asking little beyond, "shall you strike? or nay?"

And if that the question, what does that say about the participants, whom are expected to find this challenging?

One struggles to find a sense of achievement in overcoming so little.

Computers, programming, fixing things, building things that work. What about you? Apart from... cloud retaining.

Incidentally, the very same! One's greatest passion is tinkering with technology, devising devices, and creating contraptions.

Have you had the opportunity to construct many things in your time here? If so, one should greatly enjoy hearing about them.

Sure. A thing or two. Honestly, 's been easier than I expected to build stuff here, considering apparently mass-market remote-control systems are a lot better than they used to be.

One should like very much to participate in such endeavors as well, but without one's natural abilities that allow for the manipulation of elements both tangible and ethereal, one feels most handicapped indeed. Akin to a human who has lost all hands, feet, and voice at once.

Well—hm.

Certainly not the same, but there's probably some stuff one could do with voice commands and remote input methods. That, or, I don't know, seems one of the "abilities" you can buy is some personal assistant thing.

Is a "personal assistant" not a servant of some kind? It would be natural for commands to be voiced, one should think?

One feels as if, though our words be the same, our languages are completely different.

Well, there's keyboard input, but you haven't got hands, so that's right out. Neural input's still a bit shaky principles-wise, but technically it exists.
