HEARTFORGE

Who: You!
Where: Here!
When: Day 456

[ The game tower is dark.

But there's a flame in the center of the room. It pulses along with your heartbeat, steadily growing brighter and brighter and brighter. As it becomes blinding, there's the clamour of the townspeople, the sound of clashing steel, the roar of the foundry - ]

The game has two rounds, each of which is two and a half hours long. For the duration of the game, unitmates experience each other's emotions through an empathy bond.

For the first round, each unit is given a story that has blanks to fill in - filling in the blanks will forge a type of item specified by the unit. These blanks ask for an (emotion) and/or an (memory/experience).

To fill in the blanks, idols must share the memory or emotion (i.e. they must make some sort of emotional display or just lay their feelings out in general) they think is relevant to the story being told. Memories and experiences can be from any place or time, partial or complete, so long as the character is the one who has experienced it. Memories are shared by using the provided workshop and its tools to perform acts the individual sharing a memory believes are required to create the object being made. For example, hammering steel to make a sword will share a memory to everyone present for the duration of the hammering!

For the second round, each unit receives a story, but this one will not have blanks to fill in - instead it will have bolded (emotions) and (memories/experiences) which must be countered with the unit's own (emotions) and (memories/experiences) which the unit feels are appropriate. The attacking weapon's description will also be available - units are only required to counter each bolded emotion/memory/experience once, even though they are all listed twice across the story and description.

This round will play out otherwise the same way as the first, but at the end of the second round if the item made to defend against the presented story is not a perfect counter, the unit will sustain either physical or mental injury based on the presented story.

The choice of injury type is up to the player, and a set of options for each will be given at the game's conclusion.

Anything that is shared must be truthful, or else it will not count.

Idols can use their phones to purchase memories during this game. For the duration of the game, memory purchases are zero points.

1-3 winners (depending on turnout) will be determined by who made the best items, and the rest of the winners will be decided by host's choice.
