When everyone's done swiping, their phones chime and a new button appears on the profiles to view matches. If a character taps through on a match, they can see their regular idol profile with their real picture. They can also message them from there.

If you're looking for somewhere to get to know each other before heading out, the bar now champagne towers and romantic snacks. If you're trying to plan a good date spot, there are now various brochures lying on the tables for exciting locations around the city. If you want to keep it classic with a dinner date, you have a huge number of dining options. Or maybe you'll have a date at the zoo? The movie theater? Karaoke? Horseback riding? The onsen? The fireworks show at Tokyo DismaySea? A night in a cabin at the ski resort? Or maybe you're the type to kill some monsters in a romantic dungeon crawl. Or to go straight to the love hotel.

Regardless, the game tower doors are open now, and the entire city is at your disposal.

[Anything can happen, indeed. Levity just, looks up from his phone (and he's probably halfway across the room from Nite), waits until Kyanite catches his eye and then slowly raises his own eyebrows. Really. You read his profile and decided that's attractive? Really?

He's also trying pretty hard not to be smirking because god it's so funny in its own way.]

[Maybe you should try not to sound like an intellectual.

If it were not for the fact that he had the small consolation of knowing Levity had apparently found him worth dating, he would be so Done. It might be better to just Not at all.

And yet. There is another option. The greatest victory would be his if he were to woo the man who'd disliked him so.

................fine. Challenge accepted. Crosses the room, a crooked grin on his face.]

You made it clear you would like to be friends-- nonetheless, to see you would find me of interest in this way was a greater shock.

[Then, without warning, Kyanite will-- in the most fashionably polite way-- sweep him off his feet, dipping him and worse yet... kissing him passionately, with skill and sweetness.]

[Unfortunately he IS also an intellectual, he's just also stupid. Hashtag white hair idiot.

Levity starts to answer - after all, it's a little amusing to him that Kyanite would think that Levity could have somehow guessed who he was from an anonymous description, not to mention how Kyanite still seems convinced Levity has some personal dislike towards him. But his reply is cut quite short by the unexpected kiss - Levity makes a flustered noise at the back of his throat, automatically holding onto Kyanite's shoulders, his face flushing; unfortunately, this kind of boldness is something he's easily taken with.

But mixed with the flustered excitement is also a kind of deeper panic, fear of a situation once again out of his control, those remnants of burning self-deprecation that was the best defense his mind could come up with back then. Levity tries to keep the feeling in check, and when Kyanite finally lets him go he straightens up, taking a step back and holding up a hand, though his face is still red.]

I... appreciate the fervor, but please ask me next time.

It matters little to Kyanite whether he realized it or not, only that he had instinctively been attracted to what he read. But he does, in fact, still feel inclined to think that Levity would not forgive him considering how strongly he seemed to feel at the time. There's very little wrapping his mind around the fact that friendship was something he genuinely hoped to share with him.

But there is something very cute about the way he looks when he's red in the face and flustered. Even more so, considering Levity can still ask him to not do such things without asking.

He can see why he's so well loved by Lily and countless others. Even he can respect him.

He is genuine, in the way he bows his head and apologizes.]

Please forgive my eagerness. I seem to have gotten well ahead of myself. I assure you I had no intention to make you uncomfortable.

[Which, if you believe him, technically outs him for intending it to be a pleasant experience. But he doesn't seem particularly bothered by the idea of that being discovered.]

Levity still seems a little thrown by the... everything, but he's definitely willing to take it! He runs a hand through his own hair to fix it into place again.]

Thank you. You could not have known, of course, but... due to certain circumstances I would ask you to take things slowly. Besides, I did not imagine you think much of me... it was rather surprising.

It would be simpler, if it were just a matter of disliking you. Better, even, if I didn't think of you at all.

[Kyanite shifts his weight, leaning his head against his hand.]

The truth is far more complicated. I am uncertain if I can even put it to words. However... what I know is this. You have something I lack. And seeing that... it irritates me to no end.

I want to surpass you. In every way. Perhaps... a "rivalry" is the best way to describe it. There is a certain fixation I feel that suits that descriptor.

Levity looks completely taken aback at the confession. That's... certainly not what he was expecting?]

I... cannot say I truly understand what you are talking about. All of us have things that others lack, don't we? Such differences are only normal. Although I can understand the desire to better oneself.

[That's not what Kyanite said but unfortunately, Levity is like this.]

...for humankind, I suppose that is the case.

I was created to be the image of perfection-- a God to save the world from it's ruined state. [He laughs dryly.] Or perhaps it is better to say I was the 40th failure.

But I will prove them wrong. I will show them that our existence has worth.

[Our means the other scrapped beings surely.......]

To do that I will obtain those missing pieces on my own.

[That's... a lot to process, really. The idea of Kyanite being created as a god to save their world leaves Levity uneasy--it's too close to what he knows of Zodiark, and he's still uncertain about how he feels about that.

But more than that, he's unsettled by and at this point tired enough of people being convinced they're not people, one way or another.]

... I am sorry. But the humanity of your world is wrong. One's existence has worth regardless of what they can or cannot do. That is the truth, although admittedly one that is hard to hold onto at times.

[...Kyanite's expression softens, slightly. He places his hand upon Levity's head gently.]

Your truth is a kind one. But it is not one shared by my creators. For all their grand expectations, we were never equals. I am only loved for what I can do for them. I'm a God... not someone they care to know as they do their own kind. But something they expect to watch over and protect them.

[...the headpat is? Unexpected? But amusing rather than unwelcome. Levity smiles, patting Kyanite in turn.]

To tell you the truth, I still do not fully understand what a god is. And what little I do know is rather... confusing.

I do not know that I would be the same as yours, if you have them.

As a little treat for our "date" I will tell you this-- I am a creation made by an amalgamation of biology and technology. A delicate balance that well explains the number of failures that were cast aside before me.

Humans did not see themselves fit to fix their problems, so they thought to create something to take that responsibility on in their stead.

Ah... that sounds somewhat like what Lily's gone through. She, too, worried that she is not human just by virtue of her creation... No wonder you've gotten close.

But it does seem to me that the main function of gods is... taking responsibility of some sort. Whether in literal or moral guidance, or simply explaining the ways of the world... or salvation, as you put it.

[There is sorrow in his eyes-- and a flicker of something small; something burning hot and fiercely beyond it.]

So what is a self-made God but a scapegoat? Certainly if we meet their expectations we are treated with the highest honors. But those who don't meet those expectations are a source for human's blame and contempt.

We're just objects for humans to cast their feelings onto. Our lives matter not to them. They see themselves as the core purpose of our lives. Their wishes, their wants, their futures--

I know very little of my long life and still I know... I know the resentment and pain they have left me feeling.

[He finally. Breathes.]

[He listens carefully, and it all does make him feel all the more guilty about Zodiark. He hopes that his people would have spared more thought for their god, but he can't know for certain; not for certain.

But that last part catches his attention. He looks aside for a few long moments, thinking, then returns his gaze to Kyanite.]

... do you think that is what you are missing? Love?

[Said as a genuine question; after all, Levity does want to help Kyanite find whatever it is he seeks.]

[Kyanite is still, tense-- though aware of them, it is a great discomfort to openly discuss the things he assumes would have gotten him scrapped. If something happened to him, his world would be in grave danger.

Humanity would be her ruin. They did not love her as he did.

Liamendes had no desire to be perfect for the sake of Lysidian. But he would fight prove them wrong.

And to protect the one person that mattered in that whole forsaken place.]

I am not incapable of it. But it is not something I have ever felt for the people for whom I was created as a whole. But I know where it has gone and I cannot simply "put it back" in order to obtain it anymore, nor would I want to.

...those parts were considered "trash" and removed before I was considered "complete" anyway. [He laughs, dryly.] Apparently humans did not think I needed any love for them. It never stopped them from having a great love for me. Then again... I did as they wanted, they had no reason to complain.
