I thought that like me, they would want to work hard in order to return back to our homeworld. Where once more we could wholesomely join forces and continue forward together. That the end result would be some kind of return to normalcy. But...
[ That isn't the case. ]
I don't know how I am supposed to digest any of it. Returning home means returning to the realization that a good number of my unit and friends are gone.
I ended up in an argument with one of my senpai, and I am feeling somewhat down regarding this too. I spoke very boldly, but despite that, I'm not sure how to help rescue him from our current situation, or his own depression. So I feel frustrated by my current lack of power.
Naturally, because we are in hell and confronted by beings much more powerful than ourselves, finding a solution isn't something that will just happen overnight. But I am impatient and bothered nontheless.

I'm not sure myself. I seem to know a number of books and stories, however. Perhaps a little...? I enjoy reading.
