I am still fairly new myself. A number of individuals on or connected to my unit have names based on birds. Someone helped come up with Hawk for me. But because there are some people here who know and remember me from home, and knew my true name, I have already begun to go by 'Tsukasa' or 'Suou'.
I didn't want to completely disregard Hawk however. Because I thought it was a very thoughtful and noble name.
