[ On your way up to the floor, some sort of horrible medicine-scented something sprays into the air, maybe right on your face. No matter how quick your reflexes are, you'll end up breathing in at least some of it - and immediately, you'll find yourself feeling warmer, heavier, dizzy.

That can't be good.

When you exit the Game Tower's elevator, you'll find yourself in what looks like the inside of the Japanese Diet building, divided into two. There are also twelve sections in the back on the elevated part of the floor, divided by unit colored curtains; they're too small for more than one person to go in.

HOW TO PLAY
♥ There are 4 rounds divided into mingling and submitting. You have 45 minutes to mingle and 5 minutes to turn in.
♥ Every round, each unit receives 3 coins. Units must choose how many coins will go into paying taxes and how many coins will be added to the unit bank. Units may also optionally donate coins to another unit.
♥ The mingle portion is used to discuss how many coins units should submit amongst the group, strategize privately, and, if applicable, vote to exile the parasite.
♥ At the end of the round, all collected taxes will be tallied up, tripled, and then redistributed evenly to units.

This is regardless of how many coins you put in. Even if you don't put in any coins, you will receive tax returns.
If the number is a decimal, it will be rounded to the nearest whole.

♥ You will not know who submitted how many coins to taxes, nor will you know if a unit donated to yours. You are not informed of your total until the end of the game.
♥ Should you suspect a unit is a parasite, i.e. they don't pay any taxes and get money while not contributing, you can vote to exile one unit, with a minimum of 3 votes to succeed. As long as you have at least 3 units to vote for exile, you may exile a unit.

Exiled units will have their funds stripped from them and added to the tax deposit that round, to be tripled and redistributed.
You cannot vote for your own exile.

FIGHTS & WINNING
♥ Don't fight! But if you do, winners will be healed by endgame.
♥ In order to not be condemned as a parasite of society, you must have a minimum of 37 coins by endgame.

However, if no one can meet the minimum, the government will give a tax exemption to 3 units of up to 15 coins each, in order of least debt to highest debt.
Ties will be decided by unit order, i.e. LiliS will be exempt over BARiTONES.

♥ At the end of the game, units with over 37 coins may donate their surplus to another unit.
♥ If your unit wins via being a parasite or via schemed with one other unit, you can choose to protect one unit from being condemned as a parasite of society. This is applicable even if the unit that you schemed with does not win. This is separate from the above rule.



OOC NOTES
• This game is entirely done in mingle format. Unit rooms are only used to turn in, as well as for punishments at the end of the game. (Punishments via exile are done in the middle of the game.)
• If your character is having a private discussion with someone and IC/OOC you don't want others to be listening, please put PRIVATE on the subject/header of your thread. All comments made without the PRIVATE header are fair game for characters to snoop.

Should there be difficulty in suspension of disbelief, i.e. a big fight breaks out while the PRIVATE header is still up in the thread, please discuss with the players involved whether your character can engage/witness it. If the players involved say no, please respect their wishes.

• It is possible that this game may end up being too fast-paced for threading unit discussions! It is A-OK to discuss in Discord channels what your unit plans on doing, especially as there is only 5 minutes for submission time. ICly only one character per unit can turn in, so please keep this in mind if you also want to do like, character reneges on unit decision for Drama Purposes(TM).
• Group 1 cannot see or hear anything Group 2 is doing and vice versa. The curtain is magical don't worry about it.
• Coins are not available except within the unit-specific booths during submission time. Coins cannot be taken out of the booth. Coins cannot be hidden or destroyed.
• You may submit early, but you cannot change it afterwards.
• Punishments are themed around parasites, both literal (physical trauma) and metaphorical (psychological trauma/status effects).
• Powers are on during mingle and off during submission. Same goes for items (leave your bag at the curtain door).
• You will not know, IC or OOC, how many coins your unit has in total until the end of the game.

• Maths:

If everyone turns in all coins to taxes, everyone gets 9 coins back! Do that four 4 rounds and you'll get 36 coins back total!
If every unit has 36 coins, LiliS, Taisho, and future is now will win in Group 1; sensitIV, pep!pep!, and BAD END=DEAD END will win in Group 2. Every other unit will lose.
Otherwise, if every unit has less than 36 coins, the 6 units with 21 coins or higher win.

• Mathematically at least 2 units will be maimed per group (UNLESS someone is exiled) but the number may go up to 5 units.

The default is that at least 3 units will be maimed per group; with efficient collaboration, people can bring it down to 2; with exiling people can bring it down to 1.
It is technically mathematically possible to save everyone.
It is technically mathematically possible to TPK everyone.

• Put PRIVATE on thread headers if you don't want other characters to listen in.
• Powers are on but you can't do anything to the submission boxes.
• If you're feeling short on time talk to your unitmates OOC to decide on what to do with your coins.
