They do? That seems rather pointless, yes?

[It's like trying to go off a linear path when you have no map to point you elsewhere.]
tradesecret: (z) That sounds like a confession to me.)

Mmm. Not everyone things logically or pragmatically, but I would say a fair majority of Future is Now thinks as you do.

It might be too early to have an opinion, but I think it's a good fit.

That's nice to know.

[Less of a chance for illogical actions until the arguing starts]

Yes... But why would it change later when there is but a linear, unmoving path ahead?
tradesecret: (z) It's you and me; honeybunch)

People with no frame of reference tend to be more receptive to their environment. Memories can sometimes change perspectives and make people more resistant to things that oppose their principles.

Ah... I hadn't thought of that.

[True, it is possible to get memories, but he's only been here for like a day... Is it too soon? Should he save up a little more just in case?]
tradesecret: (z) Sure they can. Let me show you.)

[ save for scar removal when death inevitably happens. ]

To be fair, I don't think most people do, but I've observed the culture shock experienced by those with all their memories here. In some ways, it seems like a handicap.

Ah, which isn't to suggest that people shouldn't purchase memories... I've learned some interesting skills from them.

[Why buy scar removal when you cover your face in front of the cameras?]

Hm... Both points sound valid... I'll have to consider them.

[There is one person with her memories in tact, and she says she came from Hell... So...]
tradesecret: (z) Yes; but now I work for the UN)

[ because SensitIV could open those wounds and then you'll be in trouble ]

One of your unitmates could be a good resource. Miss Furudo has all her memories.

[... OH.]

As she had told me. Apperently there's an incentive for her, something she called graduation? It's a bit early for me to be thinking of such a thing, but I do know of it.
tradesecret: (z) It's you and me; honeybunch)

[personal profile] tradesecret 2019-05-18 02:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Leaving graduation aside, did memories seem like something of interest to you?
justpure: (That killed countless people)

[personal profile] justpure 2019-05-19 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
... Well.

[He hasn't thought too hard about those. He glances at his phone for a moment.]

I woke up with no identity and decided to find a new one if I was going to be an idol. Though, even if reclaiming my old memories would be counterintuitive to that goal, I can't help but be curious about my past.

... For now, I suppose I'll wait a few days before I buy one.
