LIVE!

Who: Sunshine and people who poll
Where: Lobby
When: Day 52, evening

[ When the live goes off, it's in the lobby and seems to be zoomed in on a whole table of cupcakes with what appear to be cute stick figures drawn on fondant atop their fluffy chocolate surfaces. (Note, it's hard to tell just what exactly what the stick figures are unless you're actually holding one.) The phone pans away from the cupcakes for a second to Sunshine's beaming face as he waves at the camera and hops onto the table to hold up a cupcake, as if pondering its deep mysteries. ]

Good evening~, my fellow idols. Going to shake things up a bit today. Due to recent critical feedback on the polling practices of yours truly (I take feedback very seriously of course) and our craaaaazy week, I've decided to initiate a new system of poll submissions. That's right, you get to tell me what you think would make an awesome poll and if I like, I'll run with it. I'll still do my own from time to time. Gotta keep you guys on your toes!

[ Here, he jabs the cupcake in the direction of the camera ]

But this way, you, yes YOU get to be part of the creative process. So no more complaints! By the way, this offer is also open to members of our lovely~ audience. I want to hear your ideas too, babes.

[ He starts to toss the cupcake lightly in his hand. ]

And to commemorate this momentous format shift or maybe just because I think chocolate is the cure to all life's problems (that and alcohol), everyone who votes gets a freeeeee cupcake!

[ Sweeps an arm across the goodies crowding the table ]

Yaaay, right? Anyway~...

[ He switches his voice to sound overly dramatic, as he gestures toward the sky.]

Our inaugural submission comes from the ever altruistic Phoenix.

[ Back to normal tone: ]

Oooh, this one sounds pretty useful. Phoenix wants to know what time do you guys prefer lives be held for maximum participation potential. Vote now! And as always, let me know the reason for your choice. This is a critical component of the answer evaluation process.

Have fun! And if you have a poll submission, feel free to hit me up anytime. I might even do a brand new poll entirely about submissions. We'll see~.

Well, I know there is probably never a good time for a 'public breakdown'. It's not like you can really plan those, though...

And medical lives probably work best when people are wounded, which is another thing we can't plan... though there could always be check-ups in the morning! Other than that, the only lives I know of are uh... Kidnapping??? Oh, what are some other ones?

Fake it...?

[Oh boy. That does seem like a bunch of different stuff.]

Well, that explains the balloons... I guess anything that requires a lot of energy would be good for the afternoon. Things that might mean needing a wash would be better in the evening or at night, just before people turn in so they could get out of their clothing and into pajamas...

Monologues and speeches and the like are probably fine whenever, since I don't think most people need to... do much as far as participation, right? That's the nature of monologuing.

Like......

LARP?

[Squints.]

Ah, I suppose I could write them! Yeah, no problem. I'm not sure how much it'd actually help. I think some people will just do whatever it is they do whenever they feel like, regardless of the convenience.

Ah. I guess I can see it. Like acting on television or something. I guess some people would be better than others.

Combined lives...? Like... Two different kinds of lives put together?

Does he? I only met him the once, so I don't really know him well yet... but I think I can see it. I think it could be tough to coordinate so many events going on at once, but it certainly wouldn't be a bad thing for everyone. After all, that's how we get our memories and such, right?

The what now? [Furries??? Nya is still so obviously New Here.]

Ah, uh, yeah. That makes sense... Some of them definitely seem like they could have help more than others. I'd say sensitIV can probably provide medical support on a few of those.

The pranks, for sure...

[That one only comes so quickly because a certain prankster had fallen off of a table while he was there.]

I think fighting, staged violence, and destruction would also very obviously need at least someone on hand to heal if necessary. Anything that might require stunts or danger, really.

Maybe not yet, but there is certainly the potential! Even if you don't think so ahead of time, there are unforeseen outcomes!

...Granted, C falling off of his table was my fault... But he wasn't hurt! But he could have been! And with the water in those balloons, what if someone had slipped? The potential for disaster is most certainly there.

You can't actually predict the future, though.

Technically, he knocked himself off of the table trying to avoid water balloons thrown at him, but I was the one throwing them. I don't think he was injured, though...

Yes??? The future cannot be predicted, though self-fulfilling prophecies are possible. And in any case, fortune-telling is just an elaborate con. All you need to do is make some very vague guesses and say something like "You will hear something about someone dear to you tomorrow!" and then the person hearing that will fulfill it for you. Something will happen and our minds will draw a pattern where there is none.

[Look, magic is one thing. The future? That's messing with time and Fate and the like.]

...You know I should have snuck in a counter live there, shouldn't I?

Well, they should be. It's a skill, for sure, it's just not the one that they think it is.

I'll keep an eye out from now on, though. I don't have any of the healing "powers" or whatever, but I am fairly confident that I can manage first aid at least.

...I imagine that's in high demand...

Not sure how good I am there.
