[Going to get up and go collect more things for bandages, gotta tend to our half-broken frustrating monster.]

You're wrong about that. I don't give a damn about "my sake." But you and Phoenix.... what I want more than anything is for the both of you to be happy. And I know it doesn't feel that way right now, but I think eating the people you care for would be much worse for you when you're back to normal. I'll risk you being angry at me now if you can live with yourself easier later.

How does someone hear "minimize the damage" and keep coming to the conclusion that it's eat people or starve the monster?

Whose sake is it that you'll keep a blinded, injured monster and starve it to the point of insanity?

Point one-- Do you have a third conclusion? Because let me tell you, I've got nothing here.

Point two.... I don't look at you and see "a monster." I look at you and see Boss. One of my dearest friends. Someone I genuinely don't know how to help right now. All I can do right now is bandage your injuries and take care of you until this game ends. I promise you, I'll buy you all the meals you want then.

[Honestly just quietly bandaging Boss now, Sanguine's saying about what he's thinking anyway. And with more calm than he feels at the moment, which is better.]

If you really saw me, you wouldn't be so dismissive just because I'm "a crazy hungry monster".

[kind of rocking his feet side to side because honestly he could probably bust out of this easily but also mockingly carefree about pointing out a thing.]

[ Sanguine makes a frustrated noise. ]

first things first.

weak bondage is dumb.

claws are useful for just this purpose. once Phoenix is out of the room, that is. though it might take a little bit because one arm is kinda useless thanks to munchies]

[ Meanwhile, Sanguine only went as far as the living room, where he flopped over in the couch and is mumbling to himself. ]

[ He starts carefully bandaging Phoenix, making sure his injuries are firmly bound. ]

[He has a lot of medium to shallow gouges in him but on the upside none of them are remotely life threatening.]

I haven't been trying not to rest. I could say the same to you, you know?

[ Not life-threatening is good! It's a relief, but he's going to make sure they're all taken care of regardless, his fingers sometimes brushing against skin as he wraps wounds. ]

I worry about you sometimes. A lot of the time.

[Ah. Well. He quietly holds his arms up for the bandaging and doesn't react much to the touches but he definitely isn't unaware of them.]
