Doctor, hello. [ looking him up and down. ] I'm fine. Nothing happened to either me or Saffron. pep! and Wild City managed to keep us from going under.

What about you and Zrael?

Aliza fought hard for my and Reed's sake. I was more worried about her than myself, truthfully.

[To say that she didn't take seeing him stuck there well would be an understatement.]

I'm glad to hear that she's decided to play harder. I don't want to see Zrael on the bottom. [ he figured lumine would play hard, but he couldn't be sure alizarin would do so. he's... relieved, but this game had consequences for the people that hadn't been trapped... naturally. ] How is she? Did she take all of the remedies?

It was her and Aradia, and Aradia took the initial pills without asking. They agreed to discuss for the later rounds, but a few came that would have been bad for Aliza - making her younger, losing her inhibitions - so she only ended up taking a couple. Much to her frustration.

[She wanted to be able to do more for them herself.]

...sounds like things had been rough for all of you. It had been surprisingly not bad for us, although I suppose really have no way of knowing. I could only vaguely tell what some of remedies they took did. [ sighs, combing his fingers through his hair. ] What an annoying game.

Quite troublesome. But I'm glad to know that you and Aether did relatively well.

And I'm glad that you did well too. Were you the only HSS there? Who is even on your team anymore...

Myself, Zhongli, and Bomb. But I was the only one present at this game.

Indeed. Perhaps we're cursed in some way?

We must also be cursed... there's only a few of us Wild City's again too.

At least you have Aether, hm? I'd ask you to take care of my dear former unitmate, but I doubt it will be a problem.

I don't think that will be a problem. And if and when we're able to make it so, HSS will still be a priority of ours. [ it's not going to be all the time, because games don't always all for that kind of leniency, but... they'll try. ]

...yeah. We protect ourselves first and foremost, but we'll always see if we can't at least try. With so few of us I doubt we'll have many other units we'll want to protect. [ shrugs. ] But this talk is kind of depressing, no, so we may as well move the topic of conversation along to something else...

I invited Alizarin over for drinks and you're more than welcome to join us.
