I make a point not to have many hangups, but that hit several at once when I couldn't hide it. [ There's a "sorry" in there somewhere, even if he can't say he would have changed how he played. How he said things, however... ]

[ Nice to know he won't be taken advantage of in the case of a truth compulsion, but this isn't that. Gent smiles a bit, still muted. His usual persona isn't exactly a lie, but it is a bit exaggerated. ]

I could also tell you it's probably blue, more or less. But what I couldn't do is tell you that it's red or green.

Okay. Well — I definitely can't tell you how to feel about LiliS. [ Pause. Pursed lips. ] Wouldn't want to, even if I could. I know none of us get to choose where we wind up, and...

Anyway. Point is, you don't have to talk to me about anything you don't want to, but — I'll always listen if you do have something to say.

[ He looks surprised for a flash, before his expression smooths into something like self-deprecating amusement. When he can't lie he has to show that he does indeed have a full range of emotions. Normally he'd find this a bit bothersome, but: ]

I'm not used to being overly earnest. I'm of a race known for mischief and trickery. Glammouring.

I also have a keen sense of fairness, or what I perceive as such. Izanagi abdicating responsibility for the game for his comfort and then grabbing the remedies he wanted without a word, leaving me both with his rejects and responsible for the effects on both you and Nyx and Izanagi himself made me... angry is too strong a word. Offended, maybe. Bothered. I might have let it go normally, but being unable to lie...

[ He kind of wants to defend Izzy again — he can see it from both sides all too easily here, and he's frustratingly sure Izzy was trying to make up for not helping with the decision-making by taking the worst remedies, but... instead, Lupine's going to push out a quiet sigh. ]

[ But "worst" is very subjective with the ones they got, how could anyone possibly know which ones Gent thought were worse if he never bothered asking? Gent more than likely would have been less bothered if Izanagi had even tried to have a conversation, about anything, rather than laying down edicts. He's not generally a high strung type, as Lupine knows. ]

Fae. Like a fairy, though I find that term distasteful. That's why I'm averse to metals, and iron specifically causes me pain just by touch. It smells vile, too. I'm still working out what that means, exactly, but it only makes sense that I would have responses that aren't exactly typical.

If it will make things better, I can try to smooth things over with Izanagi. I can't guarantee it'll go well until the effects are gone, however.
