We might all walk into a mess. I don't think he's planning anything more stupid than anyone else. At least, I'm pretty convinced of his dedication to everyone's escape here.

Honestly more than anyone else, possibly. Intensity might be putting me a bit to shame with his determination.

It's a double-edge, though.

He's neglecting himself a lot when it comes down to it.

I mean I'll be honest Boss, sometimes you're both completely incomprehensible to me.

But he's just competitive and cautious. You're both really cautious, kind of bordering paranoid.

He's not going to ask for help and you're not going to offer to be his flunky, but talk to him in a language he gets. Game metaphors are probably too confusing, but goals and ambitions should be a little more straightforward? I hope. Maybe.

No. We have those kinds of talks all the time. He says I have no goals, just a fence sitter too lazy or unmotivated to so anything, when I tell him that I have a goal and that goal is to get everyone out and dismantle this place, preferably without taking one side over the other because both sides--supposedly--are screwing us over.

I'm too... unpredictable. For someone as methodical as him. That's why he threw down the challenge, I think, in the first place. He can't control me, he knows it, so at least with that understanding...

Think like... people he interacts with are chess pieces--he himself might even be one, but he's also the one calling the movements of the pieces.

Anyway, point is... he gets me about as well as you just said you do.

Yeah he used that metaphor too, but you're both wrong, we're not playing chess. The producers might be, but we sure as hell aren't. Best game we could say we're playing is poker, but all the cards are blank.

And he's not really a chess master, unless he's pulling some major moves we're all oblivious too in some highly advanced mind game, people are just helping him and everyone else here out of good will for each other or common interest.

...It's just kind of starting to piss me off when people get all chess metaphor about each other.

They called me a Wild Card. I think because normally, people aren't supposed to do that with personas. Usually people have just the one they work on leveling up.
