A child told me that they burned down a church - intentionally, and I very much suspect with people inside - and I refused to call the police. Invited them to return to my shop, even.

It turns out when you're stuck in hell making life or death decisions all the time, people get a lot more relaxed about it, conceptually.

That's true. I suppose most people I meet have killed someone here, or would consider it under the right circumstances.

He's probably one of the most forgiving people I know, for better or for worse.
