Who: Cosmo
Where: Lobby
When: 436
[Cosmo is rocking a look. Minus the plague mask, it's just his normal mask. He's got a set of fruity drinks in front of him, and he's leaning back with a drink in hand.]
"Risk" and "Reward".
Half of these drinks are non-alcoholic, most of the rest are quite potently alcoholic, a few are drugged.
The risk is obvious, the reward is engaging in the live. Or perhaps in avoiding the traps.
The drugs are one of three kinds--a potent psychedelic, a numbing agent, and something to get you a little hot under the collar. Do take it elsewhere if you get that last one.
[He sips his drink.]
Of course some say the best way to win at gambling is not to play, but where's the fun in that?
((OOC: tag any toplevels with the aphro as nsfw and you can have like, multiple if you want. I'll toplevel Lahabrea to talk to but you can also just engage with drugs.))

Re: DONE
Childe. Felicity.
My apologies but I couldn't help overhear my name...
Re: DONE
[ looks back to the rock
looks back to childe
looks back to zhongli ]
Uhm. . . Uhm. . .
Re: DONE
[
Or... should I let him do the... Xiansheng! Yes! Were your rock senses tingling? [ oh, he heard his name, that's... basically the same thing! ] I bought this for you and Felicity helped me pick out the best of the bunch!
Re: DONE
Oh.
He inclines his head to the both of them. ]
That is very kind of both of you. I see that you have gathered quite the collection of specimens to choose from.
(splitting threads here)
Uhm, he said you were a rock enthusiast. . . Is it right to assume you have an interest in geology?
Re: (splitting threads here)
Are you similarly interested in the field, Felicity?
Re: (splitting threads here)
To be more accurate, I'm a volcanologist!
Re: (splitting threads here)
And what about volcanoes has so thoroughly captured your interest?
Re: (splitting threads here)
I don't remember why I started with volcanology yet, or what my motivation was in the past, but. . . for now, I think the way the world works is fascinating. We still don't fully understand the ground that we live on, or what happens underneath our feet, and I want to understand more and more of it.
There are differences between this planet and the planet that I come from—and I'm sure there are differences between them and your planet, too, even when it comes to basic building blocks of life, and I think that's fascinating.

Re: (splitting threads here)
I have a weak constitution, so I'm waiting until the weather is warmer for us to go—I'd want to have an overnight expedition there, after all. But I'd be happy to accompany you with shorter trips! And if you'd like to join us for the expedition to Mount Hakone, I'd be honored!
Re: (splitting threads here)
Re: DONE
Re: DONE
I do like it.
Though I cannot say I have a preference for geodes or rocks of volcanic origins or salt rocks.
All of them are beautiful and precious in their own way. And they all have their own unique stories to tell.
Re: DONE
Re: DONE
Yes, it is rather large to be storing indoors. But perhaps a few pieces stored in my room and yours -- that would be lovely, wouldn't it?
Then I could look at it always.
Re: DONE
Re: DONE
I do not know if I have enough negative feelings toward this rock to make it do the trick. But I will attempt so.
Re: DONE
Here, let me punch it. [ he's not even waiting for zhongli to tell him not to. HE'S PUNCHING THIS ROCK and likely breaking his hand... not that he seems to care, because he's drunk x10, but the sickening crack might be a dead give away. ]
Did I do it? [ his tails all wag. ]
(splitting threads here)
[ she'll pause, letting the two of them talk ]
Does that mean you're happy with this rock?
Re: (splitting threads here)
Re: (splitting threads here)
Oh! T-they're all really interesting to me. . . I don't know if I have a favorite, exactly, but, uhm, I suppose the basaltic andesite is fascinating? The rock with the unconformity is, too. . . oh, the sylvite is too, especially given the size, but my area of expertise is in volcanic rocks, since I'm a volcanologist, so . . .
