BiT live
Who: Cosmo
Where: Lobby
When: 436
[Cosmo is rocking a look. Minus the plague mask, it's just his normal mask. He's got a set of fruity drinks in front of him, and he's leaning back with a drink in hand.]
"Risk" and "Reward".
Half of these drinks are non-alcoholic, most of the rest are quite potently alcoholic, a few are drugged.
The risk is obvious, the reward is engaging in the live. Or perhaps in avoiding the traps.
The drugs are one of three kinds--a potent psychedelic, a numbing agent, and something to get you a little hot under the collar. Do take it elsewhere if you get that last one.
[He sips his drink.]
Of course some say the best way to win at gambling is not to play, but where's the fun in that?
((OOC: tag any toplevels with the aphro as nsfw and you can have like, multiple if you want. I'll toplevel Lahabrea to talk to but you can also just engage with drugs.))

Re: (splitting threads here)
I don't remember why I started with volcanology yet, or what my motivation was in the past, but. . . for now, I think the way the world works is fascinating. We still don't fully understand the ground that we live on, or what happens underneath our feet, and I want to understand more and more of it.
There are differences between this planet and the planet that I come from—and I'm sure there are differences between them and your planet, too, even when it comes to basic building blocks of life, and I think that's fascinating.

Re: (splitting threads here)
I have a weak constitution, so I'm waiting until the weather is warmer for us to go—I'd want to have an overnight expedition there, after all. But I'd be happy to accompany you with shorter trips! And if you'd like to join us for the expedition to Mount Hakone, I'd be honored!

[ A short thoughtful pause ]
As for shorter trips...
I do not have a large vehicle for transportation but I do have a motorcycle. But would a car be more preferable so we could transport you and your robotic companion?
