[He gives her a long few minutes before giving her one final squeeze - pulling back, a little, and offering her a hand]

[She takes it, swiping at her eyes with her other hand. Then she pushes to her feet, keeping her head tipped down, hair falling to obscure her face]

Hey, Rav?

[And just like that, a bird is there, to carry them high above the streets where she doesn't have to worry about anyone seeing her face]

[Ducks her head further to more of a bow, before clambering onto Ravioli's back without argument]

[Climbs up behind her, arms circling carefully around her]

[Up they go into the sky, headed toward a certain empty building]

[Once they're high enough, she sags back against him as if too drained to do anything else. Luckily, it shouldn't take too long to get where they're going, and of course Ravioli knows the way]

[It's not long at all; after all, Ravioli knows the way as well as Hurricane does, and perches right on the windowsill and then hops inside so they don't even have to climb up the stairs]

[Everyone needs a giant bird. For now, Nemesis leans in slow, patting his head with some mixture of guilty gratitude]

[Ravioli cranes his head, turnign around so that he can preen at her hair, in turn]

[She ducks her head, incidentally easier preening reach, but mostly because she's still a little weepy and she is touched,]

[Sorry she is having feelings on your bird ;;]

[Technically the bird is him, so it's fine,]

[In either case, he's quiet as he lets her have a moment so Rav can preen at her more thoroughly]

[She is sorry for having feelings on him, too,]

[Basically she is going to stay put until moved elsewhere, sorry]

[After letting her have a couple of moments of snuggle time with Rav, he climbs down, and offers a hand, to help her down]

[Reluctant, or just slow; she takes his hand and goes where she is led]

[He kicks off his own shoes and helps her out of hers, then leads her to the blanket fort. Takes off her jacket, and bundles her up in blankets]

[Goes, docile; she seems to be too drained not to just let him take care of her. Though as he bundles, she does attempt to keep hold of his hand as much as possible]

[He keeps hold - gives her hand a little squeeze]

I'm gonna make you some tea. You okay to sit with Rav for a few?

[She looks reluctant, but nods, slow. There is still birb (borb???), so it's not bad to settle back,]

[Ravioli has, perhaps obligingly, become borb form for exactly this reason, and snuggles in against her to take up preening]

[Mmm borb... She settles back, carefully reaching up to scritch at Rav's jaw]

[In this form, the jaw is buried under a huge amoutn of fluff, but Rav seems to appreciate it - trills softly, and nuzzles in nearer]

[Meanhile, Hurricane gets to work on the tea]

[Huge amount of fluff is a feature, not a bug, so she continues to give a little scratch, slow and simple]

[Ravioli cranes his neck a little, so that he can return the favor and preen her while she scritches, all the feathers along his cheeks and neck fluffing up to allow her better access]

[Meanwhile, it is time to add booze to this tea]

[She takes full advantage, doing her best to be gentle despite clumsier fingers than he's used to. Her head ducks a bit as well, so that he has as good access as she does,]

[Working his contented way through her hair, then, with great care and attention]

[After another minute or two, Hurricane reappears, to hold out a cup that smells strongly of both tea and booze]

All set.
