[It's a few more damp, shaky breaths before she sinks in more heavily, warm and solid against him]

[Rav does not seem to mind - just nuzzles in closer against her, on the other side, as Hurricane's fingers comb gently through her hair]

[Another sigh, comfortable, as her breath begins to go longer and slower]

[He keeps it up, encouraged as she begins to relax - presses a soft kiss to the top of her hair]

[Her own pets slow to a stop, limbs going lax and heavy around him. It's as if the exhaustion of her outburst--of all the things that led to it--is too much to fight when she's this warm and comfortable.

Some faint mumble is lost in his chest, permission or apology or both, trailing off to nothing. Later, she'll jolt awake, twitchy and anxious from night terrors. But for now, there's only slow, even breaths as she soaks up his warmth]

[But if he has his way, it will be a good long while until she does, and he keeps up the gentle touches and the warm embrace, intent on soothing her into the most peaceful sleep she can manage]
