[The jewel on his earring is glowing a soft pink once more as he takes a memory in the park. It looks like this one features Chrys and Yvette - familiar faces to some. But... those who approach him may notice something a little different in the air.

As he watches the memory play out, there's a feeling of fondness and loneliness during the portions where he speaks with Chrys, or Ayumu. Not even the casual discussion of his own impending doom seems to affect him more than a mild bitterness. However, it shifts to trepidation and shame at the end, when he fetches a kitchen knife and hides it behind his back to go to meet Chrys after washing the dishes.

Once the memory comes to an end, he's left with only loneliness.]

[ So, the thing is, if it weren't for the earring acting up, Lupine would've immediately shoved his phone into a pocket and covered his ears until the memory ended.

Because he recognizes all of the people in this memory, and more than anything because he recognizes Chrys as the boy from that dump of photos onto his phone at the end of Izanagi's dream world, and even if he thinks the conversation they had in the dorm the other day could've gone worse........

But the feelings are really distracting, they freeze him in place, and then he's just watching the whole damned thing with a litany of fuck fuck fuck getting steadily louder in his head.

For a few seconds after it finishes, he doesn't move, but. He has to find Izanagi, has to... let him know that he's — leaking. ]
