I remember the experience itself, and the sorts of things I was thinking at the time when it happened. The same way you would with any other memory.

Well, that's a rip-off. I wonder if they do it on purpose.

Next time, maybe loudly announce you're gonna do a public memory, and then just switch to a private one anyway. Throw them off your scent.
