[You arrive to the game tower where today, the atmosphere seems to be quite s~p~o~o~k~y. Fog seems to cover the entire floor area and any visible area of the tower is covered by things like (fake) spiderwebs and also (fake) spiders hanging around in (fake) trees.

It would probably feel a little more spookier if it wasn't for the fact that music is blaring throughout the tower. Someone is a host today, but it's impossible to tell whom considering they're covered in a white sheet with holes cut out for eyes.

Until they talk anyway.]

I GOT A ★~★~PROMOTION~★~★

To host the greatest haunted house party that you can imagine!! But w-w-w-wait, haunted houses are s-scary! I don't wanna make you guys get too scared so we'll start small . . .

Small . . . tiny . . . miniscule . . .

It's still gonna be dangerous though!! Ghosts are PRETTY uncontrollable, ya know~? I've seen SAWoleen XVI, I know how it goes!!

[ childe's going to go look for a healer to fix his neck for whenever he becomes [un]dead. he'll drape his coat over him in the meantime, so his friends don't have to see him like this. ]

[Fairly quick on the 'undead' part. They were...very good at finding evidence.]

[Things just happened.]

[ he'll get a healer to fix his neck and then just sit down beside him, ears flattened against his head. time to wait until he gets up. ]

[Huh is his bag moving]

...??? [ going to look in his bag. ]

[Shifting, shifting, shifting through all the stuff he carries.]

[And pulling out his journal and a pencil.]

[ as someone that did nothing but shove the journal at things in his own run he recognizes the help this might be. he takes the journal and pencil out, opening to a random blank page and just… waiting. ] I’m guessing you see and hear me, huh?

['Yeah, I can hear you. My body is breathing, right?']

[ looks at his "corpse". ] Kind of seems like it's not full dead... [ brings his pointer and middle finger to check if he's got a pulse, which i'm assuming he does. ]

[He absolutely does.]

['Huh. Is this like a trick to get back in?']

...ah, I'm not sure. Could just try... diving into yourself. If you're a ghost, then I imagine your soul is what's floating around, so you just need to get back inside.

[Journal is set down on the floor.]

[......]

[Journal up.]

['This is getting annoying.']

[More like upsetting, but what's actually connecting to his emotions properly at the moment.]

I can imagine… hopefully it doesn’t last much longer and you’ll be back in your body.

['I hope so. Might be a sleepover at HSS though. Hopefully in our bodies, but I guess it might need to be dragged somewhere. You might be able to turn it into a cat if need be?']

I'll probably be heading to Heart Soldier too, ...and, sure, I can do that. [ ... ] Want me to do it now, so I can hang onto it until you're back inside?

[There is a pause.]

['Yeah, probably a good idea. Hopefully it won't be too long, but who knows if its being weird.']

[ changes his body into a kitten and scoops it up gently. ] I guess don't stray too far, or if you plan to go somewhere else let me know so I can follow.
