[You arrive to the game tower where today, the atmosphere seems to be quite s~p~o~o~k~y. Fog seems to cover the entire floor area and any visible area of the tower is covered by things like (fake) spiderwebs and also (fake) spiders hanging around in (fake) trees.

It would probably feel a little more spookier if it wasn't for the fact that music is blaring throughout the tower. Someone is a host today, but it's impossible to tell whom considering they're covered in a white sheet with holes cut out for eyes.

Until they talk anyway.]

I GOT A ★~★~PROMOTION~★~★

To host the greatest haunted house party that you can imagine!! But w-w-w-wait, haunted houses are s-scary! I don't wanna make you guys get too scared so we'll start small . . .

Small . . . tiny . . . miniscule . . .

It's still gonna be dangerous though!! Ghosts are PRETTY uncontrollable, ya know~? I've seen SAWoleen XVI, I know how it goes!!

This is better than trying to throw stuff at him.

[Which she does eventually do since he's moved away. It's not anything big or hurtful, but it bounces off of him.]

[Well, while he's trying to calm down, she'll just sit with him. See, this is why she was worried about picking on people! Clearly Crow is a bad influence.]

[WE'RE CALM, EVERYTHING'S FINE. STUPID GAME EFFECT NOT BEING CANCELED OUT BY CLOUD 9. Getting back up after a moment. Gonna maybe see about less haunted(??) bodies--and run across Venti getting up again which is AAAAAAAAAAAAA but at least he can point him at her once he's up]

[Well, once she's healed again, if he's in the vicinity after she's done talking to Venti, she'll come find him. Don't mind her the neckline of her shirt probably still has blood on it from when she'd clawed at her own neck prior to having it snapped but it doesn't matter! She's healed!]

I was in a group with Hades and Valor from Bad End.

[She presses her lips together, trying to hold in her anger. She can't be mad at Hades because he did technically carry her out of there after she died. She also threw plastic spiders at him with Valor.]

Got through our rounds okay. Everything's just kinda extra freaky for me I guess.

That's true, but him being here still makes me angry. Even more so because he can't remember why I'm angry in the first place.

Mm, I was just thinkin that it's definitely more frustrating than cathartic ta beat up somebody who's already consuming themselves with guilt. Even when ya do something about it it's hard ta feel better...

I have to agree. Hitting him didn't make me feel better.

It's a little weird having him not remember anything and kind of unnerving because he's like a totally different person. What happens when he gets more memories back?

Well, his team is Avante. I think they're pretty prepared ta help him stay in line...

Ya seem more fussed about this than about the uh... how the game ended...

Well, I died again, so that wasn't exactly fun, but that wasn't the first time it's happened.

[How many times has she died since coming here? She doesn't have the number off the top of her head.]

I think if I had pushed him and the other guy from Bad End in our group to participate harder from the start, we could have been fine. We only got one clue.

Well, muscleheads like that probably thought the brute force way would be faster 'n forgot it's also more risky...

I'd agree, but Gladio can be pretty smart as a muscle head himself. Maybe he's an exception?

You said it, not me. I was trying to be generous and give him the benefit of the doubt.

He found ghost evidence by accidentally blinding himself in the mirror with a flashlight.

I wish I could say I'm surprised, but didn't he give himself amnesia once by hitting himself with a tree?
