It's somehow a much more controversial subject than I expected.

Now I'm curious what would happen if someone made a Live about killing games being better.

That isn't remotely objective phrasing and putting it entirely black and white. I don't want to watch my son killed or tortured and yet these games are a sort of torture to him. The example might be irrelevant now, but the point stands. If your loved ones find this worse than being hurt, then your logic is flawed from the start.

Well, in my defense, I didn't have too much time to prepare the graph before you would be leaving!

Of course, there are exceptions to everything. And for a time this sort of game would have been just as traumatizing as a killing game for me, too... if not more. But I would also posit this: in majority of these kissing games we have the freedom to leave outright or participate only to a certain degree. In majority of the killing games, we certainly aren't allowed that luxury.

If you want to let someone else do that instead, I think you don't actually care about your supposed loved ones.

If it were simply a game about kissing who you wish to how you wish and nothing more, but given the outside influences the games about kissing here often have, I would rather die a thousand deaths and end a thousand lives than spend even a portion of one life submitting myself or others to the tyranny of "mistletoe".
