[It's fireworks every night since Tanabata Imeeji-edition started, huh. Okay well technically it was fire crackers the first night and the city-wide display the previous night, but at least tonight's is a scenic spot away from the hotel so people who aren't into fireworks can avoid it.

THIS IS A NO LIVE ZONE (a sign says so), but there were probably test fireworks going off earlier, and certainly a casual invite did go out on Dissonance, so it's not a secret or anything. There's ready food gathered from the nearby Aqua City shopping complex and plenty of raw ingredients for grilling set up on folding tables (the air around them seems to be temperature controlled to keep everything at optimum freshness). A couple simple grills are set up nearby for grilling food, and a boxy little van in navy and pink is parked (illegally) on the beach with the side door flung open, colored lights and music emanating from inside.

Once night falls, there's a five minute fireworks show (set to music somewhat), and then other lights to see from up and down the waterfront park. If you don't mind a mile (1.7 km) walk you could even visit the Onsen Themepark later.]

[Honestly gonna leave the grilling and stuff to whoever feels like taking them over, he's done enough set up today that other than running off for a moment to set off the fireworks display from the diamond esplanade off the beach, he's just gonna be chillin' as much as possible for the rest of the evening.]

[+1 curious Heart Soldier Senshi, sorry, but the horse may explain it. It's spooked, and she's dismounted as much for reasons of safety as anything. Alisaie isn't sure if Buddy Bond works on horses but she's giving it a go anyway: either that or staying conspicuously calm herself while watching seems to be helping.

[It's not until afterward that she becomes aware that there sure are a lot of sailor collars around here, hmm.]

[ well. she was just out on her bike, but once she catches sight of the fireworks she'll head on that way and park... far enough away from everyone not to disturb them, but close enough to watch the show. ]

[ there is a girl with sheep horns and sheep ears whomst sits on a fluffy robosheep that's effectively just like, walking her around the city. she's possibly not supposed to be out but she heard the ruckus and that's a big deal so it's very important for her to go and see . . .

the sheep is stopped mid-street as it clearly is either a vehicle or does not care about the laws. the sheep on top of the sheep looks to the fireworks with big, owlish eyes, and a smile starts as she sits upright—grips the wool on the robosheep to nearly stand up in excitement. ]

[Hades doesn't get out until nighttime, but by that point he is at least no longer moping and probably has cast off his gloomy thoughts, if not forgotten them entirely.

So there isn't any hesitation when he shows up at the beach, marveling at the fireworks.]

We did the pretty kinds before it was cool--technically. A guy who was on Bad End last summer helped me out with these. I guess that Ordine guy and Thorn-san are the only ones who're still around from then though...

[IT'S TOTALLY.. SOMETHING! There's like LED edge lighting built into the roof of the car that shifts colors and cushy seating (that may or may not obviously double as a bed). Probably along the back rest or somewhere there's some holograpic decal that says "Fuck ^\  /"--the second word is mostly covered by a cushion...]
