[The lobby of the game tower is made up to look as though it's underwater; the walls shimmer with the reflections of waves, and the lights have the faint blue-green tint of sunlight filtered through water]

[Colorful jellyfish made all of paper covered with printed text float by overhead, and schools of brilliantly colored paper fish skitter away from anything that comes close enough to be considered a threat.]

[Careful: there's a paper shark up near the ceiling]

[You may also find yourself mysteriously done up in steampunk attire]

[Near the far wall, there is an open book on a pedestal. The pages are blank. It is titled GUEST BOOK, and a pen waits nearby.]

[ Oh, is this where people are supposed to leave far too detailed reviews about the game ambiance? Like how the light filtering effects are satisfactory, the color themes are quite pleasing to the eye, and the paper creatures are a nice foil to the underwater theme. Though there is a lengthy paragraph on construction issues with the paper shark and confusion about how the fashion fits in with the theme. (Also what a pity that Sea.Di is not around to enjoy this.)

The writing continues like this for 2 pages, before finally culminating in a rating of 3.5/5.0. ]

[The beach is cool and rocky, but the fisherman's hut nearby seems kitted out with what urgent supplies you may need after such a journey, such as towels, hot broth, and the elevators back to Tokyo. In fact, you'd best make yourself at home, as the elevators do not open just yet.]

[ an attempt sure was made!, but punching sharks and kicking squids will only get you so far when you can't and they can breath underwater. he's full of teeth marks and there are dozens of bruising sucker markings around his neck, because if drowning wasn't bad enough he was choked out while doing so. ]

[Hyacinth washes up on the shore in a huge wave created by an explosive eruption beneath the water. He appears to have some thick shards of glass embedded in his limbs, and a twisted and torn length of brushed bronze pipe running completely through his shoulder... but he curls up, coughing up a mix of blood and seawater, so he appears to be aaaalive?]

Dammit... Where'd that fish go—?!

[ there is a LOT of thrashing going on in the water along the shore and if you squint you can probably see there's a sparkling pink & blue snake girl trying to punch a shark that's JUST trying to have some lunch, ...which is perhaps the cause of all of the socking and bopping. ]

[Once all teams have made their way back to shore, a large poster unfurls itself, like an invisible hand gluing it to the wall of the hut. On it in a bold hand are written the results:

Good Effort: HSS, Baritones

[The above units each receive a fat winner's purse of 800 points, and as a team, a voucher for 4000 points' worth of shop credit, either as two dorm upgrades, or any other combination of shop items, no expiration date. They also receive the option to fully heal a team (and mend their outfits) of their choice.

Either way, all other participants are at least revived, and may keep the clothing and treasures they managed to collect during their journey.

The winners thus announced, their prizes are distributed and the elevators open.]
