[ There is surely a Live notification going off and the screen shows a smiling Pep hanging upside from one of the trees near the lake for reasons, I guess. He's also writing furiously in a notebook. He glances at the screen and then as if on cue, swings back up to right himself. ]

GOOD MORNING~, IDOLS~! This is your head boy Sunshine coming at you fast with another pep quiz! And this one's smoking~!

Today we're going to find out who's the hottest idol around.

[ A quick wink ]

I mean, I know you move fast, but can you make it through the long haul?

[streamlines as well, sliding through an empty corner storefront's open windows, but they're running out of corners and shortcuts and while she hates to admit it, she's pretty sure his top speed is just higher than hers... if only there were more obstacles]

[ He cuts a sharper corner, practically using half-steps to gain some more ground. ]

Aka the key to a satisfying conclusion.

[a huff that's more than just breathing heavy, though she definitely has to work to keep up with his pace now]

[ Oh, he's feeling it by now too. But it seems his body is used to being pushed past reasonable limits. ]

[and then the rest of her efforts is put into forcing her legs to move faster, arms pumping and coat flaring behind her as they race down the straightaway to the hospital; stamina is her leading stat, not speed, but giving up is for losers, so]

[ He's giving it his all for this last sprint, probably puffing out his chest in front of him to get more air as he uses every step to launch him forward ]

[Doing the same, virtually leaping forward in an attempt to get more distance out of every step. And she does! However...it's not quite enough to match his longer stride, and despite her efforts, she can't close the gap before they make it to the hospital gates]

[ Slapping hand against the door, totally out of breath and possibly hacking up a lung but looking ABSOLUTELY ALIVE, eyes sparkling and his grin wider than ever ]

S-So. How was it...?

[Smacks the door a few beats later, a loud clack of metal against glass. She makes a disappointed sound (between trying to catch her breath) but her expression doesn't look particularly disappointed at all]

Damn, you actually know what you're doing!

Would it take away from the experience to hear I had no idea I could do that?

[ JUST LOADS OF ADRENALINE AND STUPID CONFIDENCE ]

But you've definitely got a built-in counter for speed. That could be really useful.
