If the point was to brainwash us with false information, they don't need to wait for us to buy them. Why have us wake up without memories at all? And if they already took all your memories, they're obviously gaining from that, too.

Earning something and being given something is a little different, but it doesn't seem like you understand the idea at all. Well, why don't you get one of everything? A memory and one of those 'powers' and all? I'd like to see how it changes you.

I understand it fine, stop treating me like I'm an idiot. I'm saying if we'd woken up and instead of having no memories, just had all the memories they wanted us to have, we wouldn't be questioning it at all. We'd just be whoever they wanted us to be.

It's not an unreasonable concern to have, but also there's no winning thinking like that.
